"What an amazing service from Alexandra and Laurent - a lovely couple that gave an amazing and personalized service. Upon late arrival, I was offered homemade food, even there is no restaurant in the hotel and I could have an early breakfast at 7am due to early departure. Very nicely decorated room(s) and newly modern refurbished bathroom(s) with delicate interior.
I believe this is the best personaled service I have received in years and I/we have about 60-70 nights in different hotels each...

"Everything very good. Most of staff were very helpful and it was helpful that some spoke English, although we didn't expect that as we were in France and, out of curtesy, we believed that we should attempt speaking French. Activities were free eg. crazy golf, tennis etc. The restaurant on site was for all-inclusive guests only, so we couldn't eat there. Ten minute walk to a beautiful, sandy beach with very reasonable prices for burgers, chips, drinks etc. Unfortunately, although we booked in as...

"Probably one of the worst Ibos Budget hotels I’ve stayed in. Tiny room, barely enough space to get round the bed. Really takes ‘no frills’ to the extreme.
The positives: if you stay here you probably want access to the ferry - which is practically next door. Parking behind the hotel. The town centre is a bit further but walkable. There is a carrefour supermarket nearby to stock up on whatever you need.
Negatives: where to start. Tiny room as mentioned, pitiful breakfast, codes to remember for room, lift, and staircase -all different. No lunch/dinner onsite at the weekend - the food shed outside looks pretty basic.

"Comfortable, spacious and quiet room. The hotel is on a side street off of a very attractive plaza called Place Victor Hugo. This is an older building and it shows to some degree, but was very clean and the breakfast room was particularly nicely decorated. Staff was accommodating and helpful. The parking garage under the plaza is very new and has extra-wide parking spaces. The area is very walkable and picturesque, with pleasure boats lining the canals.
If you're a fan of the TV series Candice Renoir, you'll find the building that was used as the set for the police station only a couple of blocks away."
