"Beautiful cottage in a stunning setting. Large, spacious rooms with extremely comfortable beds. Bathrooms were spacious and good for family. Grab rails in the showers would have been helpful as would hooks on the bathroom and bedroom doors but otherwise the cottage was exceptional and we would highly recommend it to other groups looking for a comfortable and peaceful holiday. "Tigh-an-Uillt was just perfect. Situated well for trips to Dunoon, Inveraray, Tighnabruaich, Portavadie, Oban. The outlook in Strachur overlooking Loch Fyne was stunning. The house had everything we needed and was very peaceful.It is quite a walk to the local - Creggans Inn and is along a busy road so local amenities rated lower but this was no problem to us as we took the car and we’re happy to sit at night and gaze at the amazing views. "The property is lovely, and the owner very resposive when light switch disintigrated. It was a shame the dishwasher program didnt work, the fire alarm fell from the ceiling and the tv was too old to take any form of digital equipment, nor did the dvd function work. Otherwise the cottage is lovely in a pretty spot The foul weather made tv more important I guess. It shortened our stay by half.
