Alban & Abbey House was perfectly located near downtown Inverness giving us access to all of the shops, walks, and dining but also the quiet of a neighborhood street to come back to at the end of a busy day. The accommodations were lovely if not a bit simple, all we needed for our stay.

The property was ideally placed for all amenities, the restaurants and bars were walking distance. Especially useful was the nearby bakery, which opens at 6am, ideal for early starts for flights, tours etc.

Good location, 5 mins over the river from main town. Good parking. Check-in is a pain, you have to go to an address 2 streets away. Room was very basic, with a broken chair, but was clean and the bed comfy.

Very good location near bakery with great food and lovely coffee. Easy walk to town. Comfy beds. Staff helped when asked. Electric kettle doesn't fit under tap which makes it difficult to fill. A bar fridge would come in handy to keep milk and yoghurt etc cold. In Australia we are used to even the cheapest motels having small fridge and microwave.

We thought this very overpriced for what we got. Basically, two single beds, a shower and toilet in a very small room with extremely thin walls. The location is great - walkable distance to the downtown. The staff member who checked us in was lovely. But overall very expensive.

Had a lovely stay. Check in was easy, the room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. It was nice and quiet and within walking distance of the town centre, Eden Court and walks along the river. There was parking at the rear which was really convenient.

Great location, comfortable and clean.

Easy check-in with friendly and helpful staff. On site parking was helpful. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The location was excellent. Everything was walkable. I'd definitely stay here again.
