This apartment was stunning - beautiful views out to the Black Isle and beyond. Lovely and quiet too Hosts were superb, excellent communication and the milk/tunnocks teacakes were very much appreciated after a long drive

Paul is a great host

Excellent apartment. Great location - on the beach (Walkable distance to Fort George). Grocery store at 2 minute walk. Loads of maps and information provided for holiday makers to plan their stay better. The host, Paul personally came around and checked on us. Based on our requirements, he gave us some valuable suggestions that helped us get the best put of our stay in Ardersier

Dolphin Suites August 2022

Simply amazing place to stay with breath taking views across to the Black Isle. Quiet village location that has every amenity you would need, if not there is a Tesco superstore about 8 miles away in Inverness. Great base to chill and relax after a day off tourist activities. The owner Paul cannot do enough to help and is rightly proud of his property and what him and wife have achieved. Will definitely be back.

The owner, Paul and his wife were fantastic! Our train was delayed and stuck between stations due to lightening taking out the signals. Paul went to the store and left us milk in the fridge so we could have tea when we arrived. We also met us there later to show us how everything worked, took us behind the suires to show us where we could buy stuff as well as where to eat.

the suite has everything you need for a self catering holiday. Two bedroom with one double bed and two single beds. washing machine and tumble dryer combo enables reduced packing. kitchen open plan with oven, hob and micro wave. dishwasher reduces the workload. fridge freezer sufficient for three days. tv has access to freeview channels and Wi-Fi works though can be spotty due to the stone work. easy access to the beach. local area is culloden battlefield, local castles. whisky distilleries and loch ness

Ardersier a little piece of tranquility where you.

Paul and his wife were wonderful nothing was a bother to them the flat was 5 star 🌟 the view from the balcony was stunning. The people from the local area were lovely. Do go to the Pace Cafe the breakfast was huge and tasty and the ladies made you feel at home.

So Quiet

We were a bit late for our check in but the staff was more than accommodating, even recommending a local pub for supper. The rental was clean and the informational book in the living room was very helpful. The views out to the bay are phenomenal and the town was so quiet (we were there off-season).

Exploring the Scottish Highlands

We had a delightful stay at the Dolphin Bay Suites. Paul, the manager, met us and gave us a great overview of the facility and the various points of interest and history in the little town. He told us about numerous sights to see and places to hear good music. He also sent us to a local dairy where they make great cheese! Other than an interesting learning experience with Scottish washing machines everything was great. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Appartment am Moray Firth

Kleine, aber gemütliche und gut ausgestattete Appartmentanlage mit tollem Blick auf den Moray Firth. Die Eigentümer kümmern sich selbst um die Gäste und sind sehr aufmerksam. Sie geben auch gute Tipps zu Unternehmungsmöglichkeiten rund um den Loch Ness.

Apartment with a wonderful view

Ardesier is a relatively tranquil village, with excellent access to beach and pathways. It also offers spectacular views of the Moray Firth and the Black Isle on the opposite side. Good pub & handy store in village

This was a short break to relax and enjoy some of the sights in the highlands. Dolphin Bay suites was a great location to head out from and a comfortable and relaxing place to return to.

Relaxing stay

My parents and I stayed there last week. Place was great, self serving, roomy (my parents were pleasantly surprised), near a pebbled beach and lots of places to walk. Paul was a great host, he even drove us to town when we said we needed a cab. Nice place to really just unwind and unplug ;)

Sehr schönes Appartment/Hotel mit Ausblick

Wir waren hier zu dritt in unserem Schottlandurlaub. Unser Aufenthalt hier war einer der besten in diesem 14 tägigen Rundtrip. Von unserem Zimmer im oberen Stockwerk hatten wir eine schöne Sicht auf die Bucht und viel Ruhe gehabt. Die Ausstattung war für uns top. Wir hatten alles was wir brauchten. Wer es abseits der großen Orte mag, ist hier gut aufgehoben. Der Besitzer/Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich und hat uns mit vielen schönen Anekdoten und Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt versorgt. Vom Hotel konnten wir leider keine Delfine aus sehen, doch nach einer Autofahrt auf die gegenüberliegende Seite haben wir einen Platz entdeckt, wo die Sichtung sehr zuverlässig war. Wir kommen gerne wieder, wenn die Zukunft es zu lässt und wir wieder nach Schottland wollen.

Work in a Foreign Land

I regularly visit Inverness for work purposes and would normally stop closer to the town centre; however, on this occasion the available accommodation was minimal. The Dolphin Bay Suites was one of the few remaining places and I must admit I was very surprised and pleased with the rooms and facilities (more TVs than I have at home). I actually tried to book the same place the following week but, not surprisingly, they were all booked. I arrived late evening after the owners had left for the day but, unlike some other reports, I found the attentive nature and instructions for gaining access to my suite very straight forward. I had to make a call over the wifi code which was resolved quickly. There was even some milk in the fridge to allow that late night cup of tea until some other provisions were obtained. I would be seeking these suites out if I visited the area on a holiday, especially with a family, as there are good local facilities.

Family weekend break
