TWA Hotel at JFK Airport

TWA Hotel at JFK Airport

8/10 Good
"This is not a hotel you go to eat and drink at. EVERYTHING is overpriced and mediocre quality, which is a shame for such a charming place. It's a great place to learn something some cool history or to chill at during a layover. Feels a lot like a museum but on a whole other level. Unless your planning a short and special occasion, the hotel rooms are outrageously overpriced for the most basic amenities, so I would consider their full-day pass instead. Pool is super small for a hotel that size and of course they charge for that too (by the hour). There isn't even a coffee maker in your room. I had to get an engineer to adjust the shower's water pressure on my first night. I loved the 60s vibe and I don't regret the experience. I suppose as a NY resident, I didn't appreciate the ridiculous price tags on basic needs."

NEW YORKER BY LOTTE HOTELS

"Well positioned hotel. Close to Penn Street Station so easy to get train or tube. Far enough away from the noise of Times Square. Rooms small but typical of NY Hotels. Dated but fits in with style/era of this hotel. Staff very helpful, we had an incidence which required hospital, they were so good keeping my room beyond my checkout time next day and not charging any extra."

YOTEL New York Times Square, Select by Hilton

YOTEL New York Times Square, Select by Hilton

10/10 Excellent
"Great hotel in a very convenient location. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but comfortable. My room did have some wear and tear but overall it was still good. It's not fancy but it's everything you need and clean. This was my second time staying here and I would stay here again. Breakfast was not included in my stay but they do have a small cafe and restaurant where you can get food on the fourth floor of the hotel. There's a split elevator design so you have to take one elevator from the lobby to the fourth floor, then get out and walk around the corner to take another elevator to the actual rooms. I didn't mind this because it made the rooms feel more secured from outsiders. Overall I enjoyed my stay."
