"Lovely resort with great amenities—including Wi-Fi—in an otherwise remote area. Other National Parks often have only rustic accommodations, but all of the hotels in Death Valley—the Inn, the Ranch, and Stove Pipe Wells were nice. Lots of food options, huge pool at the Ranch, cute ice cream parlor, very close to visitors center and Zabriski point. Fyi gas in Stove Pipe Wells was cheaper, and very close to the dunes. Great stargazing at the dunes too. It’s a long drive to get the Death Valley, but totally worth it!"

"Convenient for our hiking adventure, staff is fantastic, but this property could use some modernization. I would have expected in room adjustable A/C at a minimum. I got lucky and got one of the rooms with WiFi - ask when you reserve if this is important to you. The store next door is handy! "

"Dilapidated building with every paint surface peeling. Hallway smelled like mold or maybe feces. The bathtub was full of dead flies when I arrived, and the floor was bending upwards at the edges. The air conditioning sounded like a jet engine and smelled like dust. Absolutely cannot recommend this place."

"The man who checked me in was unfriendly. The room, while nice enough, overlooked the dumpsters behind the restaurant. The air conditioning unit sounded like an engine revving up over and over and over all night long. No coffee in the room. If you want coffee without paying $10, you have to get it in the lobby between the hours of 9 pm and 7 am The rocking chairs were nice. The location is good. Overall, not a customer friendly experience, especially for the price. "
