She was courteous, efficient, and always ready to assist with a genuine smile, which made the check-in and overall experience truly pleasant. Also a big thank you to Jagjeet for placing the slice of birthday cake in our room so that i may surprise my best friend on her birthday! I would also like to commend the housekeeping team for the birthday decorations as well as maintaining the room in impeccable condition. The cleanliness, attention to detail, and consistency throughout my stay did not go unnoticed and greatly enhanced my comfort. "The pictures all need to be updated as the pictures make the place look infinitely better than it really is. Really, they should just update the place so they match the pictures. It is extremely rundown although it is clean. Having a refrigerator/freezer, even a shared one, would have been a lifesaver. The toilets don't flush well at all. The water filter was nice. They provide shampoo and bodywash."

"Debbie was so warm and welcoming! Room is clean and contains all the needed amenities; perhaps add transparency cover to the upstairs bathroom in the family room. Nasi Lemak and food spread at breakfast were really good as well! Overall, thoroughly impressed and would patron this hotel again if u visit Ipoh!"

"Reasonable price for mid 2.5 star. Check out desk was totally unreasonable when dealing with a travel companion- there were marks on a towel & pillowcase. $20USD fee. Factor this into your price consideration? 😬"

"Room was clean but lacked plugins for the phone. Only one that was on the other end of the room. No kettle or Fridge. You can get a Thermos of hot water feom the front desk. The owner, his wife and his staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice restaurant at the end of the block. You need walk a few blocks to get to the 7/11. Daily night market was about 10 min walk. I liked the location as it was close to the Trai and bus terminal "

"This building is an amazingly restored heritage building. My loft was fantastic. If you don't like to be a lively area with traffic noise, or don't like to climb stairs (no lift) this is not your place. I personally had no problem with it, i loved the historic feel of the place. Close to all kinds of cafes, restaurants, kopitiams for food lovers. Little India around the corner, New Town 15 min. walk away for more food and shopping. Location always beats amenities for me and for me this was it. Though amenities really good too. Would stay here again, if only for the lovely and helpful staff, and the restaurant next door."
