A relatively new hotel near the centre of Ipswich. Nothing special and ok for a travelodge. The rooms are fairly small and there is not much room to spread out with your luggage. The biggest negative is the lack of free WiFi in the rooms. This is not acceptable in a modern hotel.
First time staying in a travel lodge and we were very pleasantly surprised with the overall cleanliness , friendly helpful staff , and condition of room and bathroom . We would definitely stay here again .
Good value for money, nice and new near the marina
New Travelodge close to the waterfront marina area.
Smallish room but very clean and nice big bed. Bathroom very small but functional. Good shower but nowhere to put shower gel, shampoo etc. Tried the breakfast (all you can eat for £7+ extra). Only one choice of cereal - not good enough, the rest was OK (Sausage, bacon, tomatoes, beans, scrambled egg), no mushrooms, hash browns. Better breakfasts to be had in the town but then one has to walk a long way!
All in all I would stay again.
