"Arrival - free parking at either front or rear of property. Nice grounds, trees illuminated at night. Bedding plants and shrubs. Check-in - quick and easy. Informed bar was available and open until 11pm. Wasn't sure if evening meal was available, but found out later. No breakfast available currently. Found room, nicely lit corridors, was immaculately clean, smelled fresh and fragrant. Function rooms, outside seating areas. Room - looked very clean, comfortable and fresh. Wardrobe, desk, table with brew making. Bedside tables. Bed a touch firm, but comfy and spare pillows. Bathroom very nice, shower gel and shampoo sachets available. Warm water tooka good few mins to get to shower, but pressure and flow was good. Boiler might be a distance away. Bar and dining area - had a Cider, ordered at bar, Fish and Chips and cheesecake for dessert. Mains served piping hot and remained hot,very tasty and generous portions. Cheesecake very tasty, nicely presented. Reasonable value for money. Overall - good location, good parking. Room and hotel clean and fresh. Comfy seats in bar and dining area. Choice menu, reasonable value but some choices a bit pricey. I would like room brew making tray to be a bit better, more choices and more items. Like some more tea and maybe hot chocolate. Only 5 hangers in wardrobe, what if I was staying with someone and stayed for more than 2 nights, not enough hangers. Would I stay again? Perhaps, I'd like to be offered an inclusive breakfast."
