"Excellent staff, wonderful location and beautiful views"

"We arrived late due to unforeseen circumstances so our hostess ordered pizza and bottles of water for us. That was very nice.We didn’t realize how far up a mountain this property is. The drive to the property was steep with many sharp curves. We had no hot water at one point our first morning. The next day we had NO water at all.Both of these issues were resolved as promptly as possible. Our last day there we found ourselves without running water again. Our host was very apologetic that these things happened. The VRBO listing stated 6 bedrooms. There were not 6 bedrooms. There were 5 bedrooms. Most of the mattresses were fine except for the one on the second floor. The pool and sauna were great. Due to the water and hot water issues and distance up the mountain, I wouldn’t stay here again. It’s unfortunate because the home is huge and offers many amenities. "

"The apartment is perfect! Modern, updated, very well appointed. The private terrace and hot tub were a perfect way to relax at the end of the day. Buy some wine and enjoy the view. The fabulous restaurant Baglio Saracena is very close and is delicioso! "

"A lovely rustic property situated in quiet rural Sicily but near to local amenities. Claudia and her family were very helpful and enabled our stay to be relaxed and enjoyable. Access along single tracked roads is not for the faint-hearted but worth the journey! if you want an 'away from it all' holiday then this is a great choice."

"Beautiful property in lovely surroundings. The house was equipped with everything needed and the log burner was an unexpected and welcomed surprise as we had a couple of stormy days so we were able to snuggle in front of it. Information from the owner on local eateries and places to visit was extremely useful and his directions to locate the house were invaluable. Overall a great stay the only disappointment was that we expected to have total privacy at the house, however a relative of the owner arrived the same day as ourselves and explained that he would be staying in the adjoining building for the next 3 months. A very nice and friendly gentleman but we were looking forward to our own company for the week."
