We absolutely loved our stay here! It was such a gorgeous castle and our room made us feel like royalty. It had an amazing shower and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful! The restaurant was really cool! We would love to come back!

Staff was absolutely great. Food was as well. I stayed here for 5 nights but traveled 1800 kilometers around Ireland looking at property for my new home with Dooleyās as home base each night as itās centrally located. It was perfect and I would stay there anytime.

Coming from the states with extensive travel experience, I can say that it is shocking to have a hotel where every feature feels like the main feature. The restaurants and bar are self sufficient - they do not seem to need the hotel to exist, very uncommon in my experience. In fact, it was clear that there were regular customers there, making me feel very at home. To that point, the staff was extremely courteous and informative of local events.

Very simple and pleasant place to stay. Our room and the whole facility we saw were impeccably clean. Beds were comfy. Room was comfortably warm (even tho it was howling outside with freezing rain pelting down in sheets!).
We would stay here again happily.
Additional note: I suspect Tullamore is overlooked as a town to stay and explore. Itās a cool *old* town that retains its character. Blue Eyes Bakery became a favorite spot for us. Excellent food/pastries. And absolutely *superb* coffee!

Wonderful quaint hotel. I was enjoying a beer after work and a Christmas party broke out. Santa, kid choir, snow outside, parents, grandparents were all enjoying the festivities.

Clean and comfy room! Breakfast was amazing! Gym was great, but be aware its used by locals and they weren't super welcoming. The pool/spa area was crawling with loud kids (again locals use this as a leisure club too), so we avoided that.

Beautiful old house with large bedroom. Very comfortable bed (one of the best out of 14 hotels) which was much needed due to the jet lag. Wonderful staff and walkable village shops and pubs

The Heritage is by all rights a 5 star, not a 4 star hotel. The rooms, property, and staff are all top notch! The only issues I encountered are beyond the control of the Heritage -- There are not enough taxis (I travelled to/from The Heritage by train) and if you are planning to use one, for instance, to make rail connections, plan well ahead and reserve a taxi if possible. The other thing that would be nice is if there were more dining options nearby -- But again, this is beyond the control...

Polite and accommodating staff. Grounds are absolutely beautiful for golfers or families, alike. 20 minutes away from Mullingar and 5 minutes from Tyrrellspass, with shopping, pubs, historical sites (Belvedere, Lake Ennell) nearby. Spacious rooms allow for plenty of room to spread out and enjoy some privacy. Close to all highways to get you where you need to go. Highly recommend for those looking for a taste of Ireland with modern amenities.

Great stay. We enjoyed our time and the hosts were very helpful with suggestions for the area and stops to make in our way back to Dublin.
We had a full day to make the 1.5 hour drive to drop of our rental car. Neil was able to give us some great stops on the way.
