"We are given Cabin 1 and there was no lighting outside and the bathrooms were a 3 min walk away in the dark. I feel and hurt my knee trying to use the bathroom at night, this caused me alot of discomfort for the rest of my stay. This part of the island is wet, and rain is common. There is mud that makes the ground dangerous to walk on. I would not recommend this place due to safety concerns. "

"This was a lovely little home-away-from-home to return to after exploring Hawai’i Island. The host is very responsive. I love the chorus of frogs every evening and waking up to the birds in the morning. A rental car was a must, but the gorgeous ocean cliffs in the drive home are stunning, every time! "

"Howard is such an amazing host. Very responsive whenever we had questions and gave great advice on activities on the island. This place is even better than it looks in the pictures. We were blown away by the size of the bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. The covered patios and decks is where we spent so much time in the mornings and evenings after exploring the area. We also enjoyed a few days just hanging out at the house, going for bike rides, playing pool etc. Our girls already asked when we can come back before we even checked out. We will absolutely be back and would recommend this home and host to anyone contemplating on visiting Big Island. "
