"Amazing area. Was able to walk to a beautiful small park on the ocean. Short ride to volcano National park. Washer and dryer came in handy. Clothesline and pins came in handy for my delicate items. Maku’u market on Sunday a short distance was a real find. You need to visit black sand beaches. Rochelle was quick to respond to any requests."

"This was an amazing space to stay in for our visit to the big island! The home was immaculately clean, had everything we needed to be comfortable (including a washer & dryer), and afforded incredible views of the ocean (just steps away). The location is convenient for those based around Hilo and the neighbohood is quiet & walkable. We appreciated Liz's responsive communication prior to arriving and the ease checking in & out. "When we arrived, the kids first comment was "this place is really nice." We found that to be the case for our entire stay. We agree with the host, the covered lanai was our favorite room and we enjoyed eating there. We also enjoyed the large kitchen table that allowed us to work on puzzles during our free time."
