"Very nice property. Host was very friendly and helpful with local knowledge of food and activities in the area. They also have a binder with a lot of information on things to do. There is a friendly cat that lives on the property and will sit with you if you like. The house was easy to find, just follow the hosts instructions. Be sure to check out the fruit trees in the backyard."

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was perfect for our group, had everything we needed. It is in a very lovely quiet neighborhood with a view of the ocean. Only issue is lack of anything walkable like a store or beach. That is our error because it was our first time to Hawaii and we really had no idea about distance! Overall loved our stay."

"House is fully furnished with a well-stocked kitchen in a quiet and comfortable neighborhood. The location is somewhat inconvenient — most places of interest are going to be outside lower Puna (including groceries), but there is only one major road in and out of the area, which gets busy during rush hour. We appreciated the lanai on the house, which was enjoyably breezy (especially with the stocked mosquito coils to avoid getting bitten) when the main house got hot mid-morning. We (as Californians) found moisture management quite important in the damp weather on the Hilo side of the island, frequently opening windows and using the fans in the unit to avoid the "damp" smell you can otherwise get."

"What an astounding experience! This beautiful home was exactly as pictured with a spacious, comfortable interior and a jaw-dropping outdoor space. If you’re on the fence about booking it don’t hesitate to go for it!This is one of those well thought out properties where attention to detail and comfort is on full display. The rooms were comfortable, the shared living space open and airy, and the outdoor space was adorned with lush plants and ample seating. At night, the sound of the coqui frogs lulled us to sleep with no road noise to compete with the sounds of nature. We felt wonderfully removed from civilization as we enjoyed our vacation paradise."

"Staying here was a once in a lifetime experience! We were just steps away from the ocean which was breathtaking to view from lava rock cliffs. Our accommodations really set the vibe for this part of the Big Island. It was very tropical and like living in a rain forest with the greenery and fragrant flowers. The outdoor shower was a refreshing experience ( though an indoor shower is available, this outdoor shower is a must-do). Everything you need for a comfortable stay is provided, many little thoughtful touches. The accommodations were very clean. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. They are very passionate about living on this part of the island and eager to share their excitement with you. Breakfasts are delicious! Especially all of the fresh fruit. The lodge is a destination in and of itself, not just a place to sleep after seeing other places on the island."
