Fisherman Hótel Suðureyri

Fisherman Hótel Suðureyri

8/10 Good
"Clean & comfortable. As expected for the price. The rooms without bathrooms are more like a private room hostel than a hotel. They are in a separate building from the restaurant (where you check in & have breakfast). And our room the bathroom was on the floor below - a bit annoying for the middle of the night. Rooms are simple but have a sink and tea provided. Beds are comfortable, clean and warm. The town is sleepy and remote. Breakfast was great, simple Icelandic fare."

"Nice farmstead like setting with horses nearby . It’s conveniently located off of 60 with proximity to several small towns. Breakfast was really good and the eating area was large to accommodate many. If you are doing Ring Road counterclockwise, please be advised that 60 is undergoing resurfacing around the waterfall, and this might slow you down ."
