"We had a party of 11 ranging between 6 and 66 and all had a great time in the excellent Tregarden. The property is 5 minutes from the beach ad has stunning views over the coastline.Despite a couple of minor problems at the start of the holiday Genevieve and John the owners couldn't have been more helpful and sorted them out straight away.I would highly recommend Tregarden for a family hoilday. "This cottage is slightly dated and quirky but clean and contained all the necessary items for a weekend visit without the necessity to buy any cleaning products or basics tea, toilet roll etc.A secluded location with many steps but worth the trek. We enjoyed our stay and would visit again."

"Rusey cottage was perfect for our family and dog. We stayed for 2 weeks and was a great location for us to travel to various different places of interest in Cornwall. Our hosts and their family were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel so welcomed. We can’t wait to go back and stay. ITbank you for having us ☺️😁"

"The cottage was about a 30 minute walk from the beach but not suitable for young children as it’s all country roads. It’s about a 5 minute drive which is great! The check in process was very simple and easy with great communication from the property hosts. The cottage had good facilities throughout as well as substantial space for parking. Bedding and bathroom were all clean and tidy apart from blankets on sofa were a bit sandy. The only aspects we would say weren’t as strong were safety / privacy features. Eg, there was no key for the first front door to the porch so you had to leave it unlocked. There was also no curtain across either door so anyone could see in which wasn’t great for privacy, especially at night time. Some of the PAT testing had also expired on some of the kitchen appliances which needs updating. There was also no instructions left for the key for the safe. The bathroom door also didn’t lock. If booking for a long weekend where you’re out and about or surfing and need somewhere to stay, it’s great, just some small things needed to update. A good stay had overall."

"The property was perfect for our group of 4 adults & 3 children. We were lucky with the weather so made full use of the lovely garden with bbq’s & kids playing. Perfect position with Crackington Haven only 5 mins by car & Bude about 10 - 15 minutes. Lovely family holiday."
