Absolutely unique hotel, purchased as a family home. The staff are actually household staff of the owners and very helpful and friendly. We stayed in room 117, this is where A A Milne stayed and wrote some of his books!
Full of history and if you have time ask for a tour of the artist studios.

Lovely place to stay, food was excellent the staff friendly.
Walking distance to the town and plenty of shops to visit.
Views from the hotel are wonderful and king Arthur's castle is right opposite the hotel with nice views from the hotel.

Large room clean and tidy plenty of tea and coffee room was nice and warm as we went in mid January, awesome view of the sea and coastline.Good menu in restaurant and a cafe. Village was 10 min walk away plenty of shops, great pub King Arthur arms, good food for a change from hotel.
