First room assigned had a very dodgy terrace with an eight foot wall for a view. Thankfully we were moved next day when we expressed our disappointment. Best seek a room with a pool view. Breakfast and professionalism of staff were highlights and an amazing packed breakfast was offered on departure day as we were leaving early. Overall, a beautiful hotel.

Hotel tired. I love Italian chinz but this one was a bit unfriendly. Pool had a million rules from time limits in pools to a convoluted method for getting and returning towels each day for which there was a charge not communicated at checkin. Cost us an additional 20 eu to rent towels when we already had our own. Breakfast OK but seemed to recycle leftovers from previous nights set menus in hotel restaurant. Also only one or two of the staff there were friendly. Overall there are other better places to stay on the island. Our rooms right on side street near the rubbish area so no sleep with motorbikes and the real kicker of bins of empty glass bottles being dumped or better still the rubbish truck collecting at 6 am. You all know the noise and the level of which I am speaking.

Love the Hotel Floridiana. Have stayed here at least three times. The decor is cool and refreshing. The large swimming people is wonderful, temperature comfortable to stay in for hours. Located on the Main Street, near restaurants and shops.

Front desk reception Adolfo (may have spelling wrong) was kind, knowledgeable, and able to speak English. Our room was clean, terrace was a wonderful bonus, and quiet during the night. We had the breakfast buffet which was great. Close to the ferry, bus, and plenty of shops. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.

Lovely hotel within walking distance of the Ischia Porto ferries. Perfect location on the main street, amid the shops and restaurants. Set back from the street, so quiet. Room was a bit "tired" but spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable. The clientele are almost all Italian, many elderly, but this means that the hotel and grounds are quiet! There are rules for the main pool - no diving, wear a swimming cap - but there is no loutish behaviour and you can have a relaxed swim. The choice and quality of the breakfast buffet is AMAZING and the staff are on hand to supply endless coffees. There's usually a scrum at a hotel breakfast buffet but nothing like that here. Plenty of room for everyone, plenty of tables, no queuing, I'd go back for that experience alone!

A perfect holiday on the Island of Ischia.

Our very recent 6 night stay at Hotel Floridiana Terme was very memorable and enjoyable. A perfect holiday location. We loved interacting with LUCIA at Reception who was very helpful and genuinely wanted us to have a great stay on the island of Ischia. She appeared to really love her job and her enthusiasm made our interactions with her so pleasant. The hotel itself impressed us. We had a room with a view of the pool and the sea, just like in the photo. The buffet breakfasts were varied, delicious and substantial. Waiting staff were really friendly, attentive and obliging. The pools and surrounding areas were kept very clean. This is a 10/10 location. We are now back in Australia with a maximum of 12 degrees today!! We woke up every morning and said to each other...another day in Paradise.

Staff demanded we pay cash for certain items during our stay. This is an issue all over Italy with taxi drivers and businesses demanding cash and then overcharging. This hotel was no exception. Nonsense. FYI: it's against the law in Italy to do this. All businesses must accept credit cards for everytjing, including taxi drivers. They're crooks otherwise. We had to wear shower caps in the pool as though out of a 60s film. Refused to give tap water at dinner and charged 4 euro for a bottle of water. Hotel was a maze with hidden spots for the lift. Elderly population visits the hotel which was probably the best part for me as they were quiet and kind; however, this isnt a hotel for all age groups. Tiny TV with local channels only. No toiletries in the room. I was bitten alive from bugs and mosquitoes in my room. Dining staff and cleaning staff were excellent, and the hotel is centrally located about half a mile from the port and the only reasons I give this any stars.

Beautiful and restful property. The lobby and thermal pools were very useful. The location is also excellent near shops, restaurants and gelatos. It’s about 15 min walk to the ferry port and bus station where you can use public transportation. It’s about 25 min walk to Castello Aragonese.

Room is very clean, bed is comfortable, shower stall is small (standard for Europe) but shower pressure is awesome. Slipper provided, our room has a nice balcony with partial view of ocean and thermal pool. Water provided in room is not free. Pool towel is not free, cost 5 euros to rent and pool cap cost 2 euros. Pool cap is required for pool use. Breakfast is has lots of choices from sweets to eggs and bacon, yogurt, salad and fruits. However, fresh squeezed OJ cost 3 euros. Location is excellent, next to gelato shop with live piano music, with lots of other shops along the same street. I would stay again!
