"From our arrival at the hotel our stay was perfect! We were greeted with a smile and a glass of Prosecco to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The room was airy and spotlessly clean, with two tall windows onto the street. The hotel is near to restaurants and shops, but really quiet at night. It’s also within easy walk of all the sights, museums and churches. I would recommend a stay, and would definitely return to Venice and this hotel."

They both looked the same as far as bedding etc. When we arrived our son and daughter in law got a room as advertised and my husband and I were out on another building that was nothing like the photos and old. We were very disappointed I would be very clear you do not want out on the old building that you have to have there old keys to get into your room "

"Beautiful area in Canareggio. Much nicer and authentic than the other more turistic zones. As anywhere in Venice, rooms are small. Staff was very nice. Its quite a walk from the alilaguna ferry station so travel light or invest in a water taxi transfer to the campo santa Fosca, right at the hotel. My favorite part of the breakfast was sitting at the charming Campo (piazza) Santa Fosca. The hotel connects inside with hotel Tintoretto a sister property."

"As someone new to non-hotel living, this place is definitely better than your traditional hotel. More room, with kitchen and very comfy. The place is kept up nicely. I felt it was CLEAN. The front desk is there limited hours, and sometimes can't be found during those hours. But they are helpful in a new city for us. Access is quite easy, the location is excellent near a supermarket, shops, and St. Marks sq. They provided a list of restaurants nearby and helped us reserve a place which worked...

"This is not a hotel it's a guest host without a reception desk and a three flight walkup, which can be very challenging with luggage. The building is run down and a bit dirty, it's in need of plaster repair and paint. However, the worst part is since there is not a front desk, if you need to contact someone right away you will be out of luck! You can email them but you won't get an immediate response and if you call the number provided, nobody answers the phone. Our GPS was not guiding us...
