"This is a beautiful place to stay, it is indeed work out with lots of stairs and heels, but the views are like no other. And it’s not a far walk to the beach so all of the past are worth it to explore."

I loved it however, both ATV transfers we asked for didn't materialise which, esp for the route back, was mildly annoying. "The cabin was clean and the views from the balcony were amazing. The beds were comfortable, but the rugs on the wooden floor were incredibly slippery. It was not fully what we were expecting based on the description of the room we booked - the description said there would be aircon, microwave and TV, however these were not present in the room. The fans were just about enough to keep us cool overnight, however were not enough for during the day. The bathroom was fine - but be aware it does not have the screen/mesh that the bedroom does, and the walls do not meet the ceiling, so bugs/mosquitoes are able to get in - not ideal if mosquitoes find you as tasty as they find me. There also was no handle on the inside of the bathroom door, so no way to fully close it quietly or to lock it from the inside. It would have been nice to have had directions on how to find the hotel directly from the beach beforehand rather than walking along the road. The hotel is in a good location for the beach and there is a supermarket and restaurants close by. "

"The cabina had an extra extraordinary view. We loved that the bedrooms were closed off and did have air conditioning, but that the rest of the unit was completely open The house cleaning staff did an excellent job of cleaning every morning I had laundry done, and it was very reasonably priced and done very well The unit is within walking distance to almost everything but best of all the beach is right there!"

"We absolutely loved the eight days we spent at this incredible house. Our hosts were very welcoming and met us when we arrived. I had a few questions while we were there and got responses almost instantly.The house was spotless. There wasn't anything that we needed that they didn't have. The pool was fantastic. There wasn't a single day that we didn't swim or chill in the pool. We enjoyed seeing the toucans and other local birds that came around every morning and evening. We even had a coati come visit a couple of the days. One evening we could see howler monkeys in a tree down below the house. Not only was the house great, but the entire area was wonderful. The people were friendly and welcoming. If you're an animal lover, I suggest a tour of Hacienda Baru, which is about 20 minutes away. We used Freddy Cascante. It was our favorite activity for the two weeks we spent in Costa Rica.We wouldn't hesitate to come back to this beautiful property. It's easy to feel the pura vida spirit here."
