Relaxing break

We enjoyed a quiet, relaxing week at the beach. The only downside was temperature sensor in the oven was working properly.

Fantastic condo

We spent the week with our family at ocean pearl and had an amazing time. Communication from the hosts were timely and clear and always responded to my questions. The condo was clean and comfortable for us 6. The porch was our primary hangout before going to beach or dining. The location was central to everything we wanted to do. Thanks for making our week so special

Short family trip

Balcony and view were amazing which was fabulous because the weather was less than desirable. The photos and videos did not do this beautiful home justice. Everything was clean and well stocked. Second stay has been booked!

IOP Visit

We often make an off season trip to visit our son in Charleston and like staying on the Island. Of the (4) visits this is by far the most comfortable place we have stayed. Will definitely consider this unit on a future visit.

Perfect get away for family to reconnect

We stayed in mid-May 2024. It was a lot of fun. Some good restaurants nearby. Kitchen was perfect. Walk to the beach was easy. The pool was nice. The owners were easy to work with. We had a great stay. Even got to watch some dolphins playing near the pier along the shore. Overall it was a great place for our family to reconnect and spend time together. Everyone had plenty of space. Would definately stay again.

Came to Mt Pleasant area for a wedding. We decided we wanted to stay on the Ocean. I found this listing which met our accommodation requirement. The condo was as advertised and the feel I got from the pictures. Great location for ease to get to all our venues and to Charlotte.

We loved our stay

We booked Ocean Pearl for our annual girls' trip (4 of us). It was wonderful to have 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. All of the bedrooms are roomy and comfortable. The location is perfect. We really enjoyed the ocean views (especially the sunrises). The place had everything we needed for light meals with groceries and dining options close by. The drive into Charleston is easy. We would highly recommend Ocean Pearl & would love to stay here again.

Just Book It

Everything was incredibly easy in terms of the check-in process. The property was amazing! Perfect parking with easy access to the elevator and they had carts to help you get your stuff to the condo. The views are amazing! The balcony is large and the furniture is perfect! Everything is so comfortable. The kitchen is just wow! I couldn’t wait to put my groceries in the fancy sub zero fridge! We had a great time! Will absolutely be back again!!

Sunny Days

What we love most about this property is location. So much within a quick walk. You can even walk a couple of blocks to the grocery not to mention multiple restaurants and bars. Property was clean and provided all we needed for our stay. We took extra paper products because many places we have stayed only had a start. We did not use any of ours. We got a call as soon as the facility was cleaned and unloaded early. Nice perk.

Well-appointed condo - great view and location

The condo was exactly as advertised. There were plenty of supplies as we cooked all of our meals in. They have a coffee maker that takes either ground coffee or k cups, FYI. The location is right on the beach and in the middle of everything. So the beach is a little bit crowded as it is right off of the public access. Bring your bikes as there are lots of places to ride. Currently the building is getting painted so there is some construction going on. The condo on the third floor is very quiet and peaceful. There’s really comfortable furniture on the balcony. And the views are great.

Family Trip

We had a great time. The condo was in a very convenient location, right on the main road. This condo is right next to a restaurant/bar. We enjoyed free entertainment. The music was over by 9:30 pm. The kitchen was very well stocked with cooking supplies. The only negative in my opinion. It would be the darkness of the master bedroom and bath. I prefer light and bright areas to see. It was very dark and dim. Some would love it.

We loved our weekend staycation at the Ocean Pearl on IOP! Lovely condo with a wide balcony looking over the beach!

We loved our weekend staycation at the Ocean Pearl on IOP! The condo was lovely, and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. We wished we could stay for the whole week instead of just the three-day weekend! Everyone's absolute favorite part was the wide balcony looking over the beach. There were two rocking chairs, a double chaise lounge, and a tall table with swivel chairs. We spent most of our time out there if we weren't at the beach or the pool! Getting to the beach was easy-peasy, just over the gated wooden walkway, which has a shower and hose for rinsing sand off yourself and all your belongings. There's a local company that rents out chairs and umbrellas on the beach for a reasonable price. They set them up in the mornings and take them down around 5:30/6pm. We definitely took advantage of that, and it was very nice not to have to lug chairs up and down the walkway. The pool area was great too! Inside the condo, there's a very nice kitchen for cooking meals and storing snacks, but there are also multiple options within walking distance (most right next door or across the street) for dining, grabbing snacks or ice cream, shopping, and coffee. Speaking of coffee, there's a Keurig coffeemaker in the kitchen as well, which has one side for single-cup brewing (K-Cups) and another side for brewing regular ground coffee in the carafe. Beds and couches were comfy, bathrooms were clean and nice, and the big shower in the master bathroom felt luxurious. There's plenty of storage everywhere if you're staying for any length of time. There are also beach towels and a few sand toys/pool noodles in the laundry room. Finding the building and parking (which is in a covered area underneath) were extremely easy. The only "down" side is that the restaurants/bars next door tend to have live music at night, and you can hear people talking well into the night as well. There are two bedrooms with windows looking down onto that area. It wasn't a big deal for us at all (I always bring earplugs when I travel—haha!), but if you're a light sleeper or have little ones who need silence at night or naptimes, definitely take one of the bedrooms on the opposite side of the condo or bring earplugs. My husband and I were in the master bedroom and didn't hear anything at night. We LOVED our stay at the Ocean Pearl and would 100% stay here again!
