This hotel oozed uniqueness. It has many lovely aspects, especially the Staff. We were very impressed with the help of Gillian, her daughters, and Matti, although there were many others who were of great assistance during our stay. The food here is truly memorable. Every meal is a wonderful feast. The sitting room and superb grounds are everything you’d imagine in a destination Country Inn.

Room was nice, staff were very nice. We ate in the dining room the first night. The food was very tasty but quantities were very small and extremely expensive for the tiny amount provided. Full breakfast was very big and good. We had waffles on day two which was disappointingly small. Location of the hotel was lovely.

We had a wonderful view from our room once the weather cleared up. Dinner reservations book up fast so I recommend booking in advance if you plan to have dinner there. The pub that is attached to the hotel was great. All staff were very friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

The property is a bit dated. The carpet on stairway is frayed and should be replaced. The bedroom was tiny. The bed was comfortable. The staff seemed uninterested in checking me into the hotel, and I had wait and ask several times for assistance. Same with checkout. The restaurant’s food was good, esp the local seafood.
