"Found the room quite claustrophobic with a very small bathroom and basin in bedroom. No food available as I was the only guest staying. Staff were very nice. Do not think I will stay there again. "

"Very well equipped house. Only one niggle the boiler hot water temperature is too low. The shower and bath were luke warm. I was unable to adjust it. Also, the key safe would not work to lock the key in when we left."

"Lovely well appointed house with generous welcome hamper filled with local foods and drink. Soaps and shampoos etc in the bathrooms and cloakroom. Lots to see and do in the local area and our host was superb, communicating well and greeting us the first evening to show us the ropes. A wonderful stay in all respects."

"We enjoyed the garden and were allowed to pick fresh plums, apples,tomatoes & figs. Our old dog also enjoyed the garden but I would have been more relaxed if there had been a barrier between the cottage and the busy main road."

"Particularly appreciated: view to sea, location near Botanic Garden, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable sofas, lots of power points, dark skies to view stars (when clouds cleared) Would also suggest: non-slip mat in bath/shower, high-back easy chair - and pls fix wonky dining chair!
