De kamers zijn klein maar functioneel, hier en daar wat verbeteringen (los hangend behang, geen haakjes voor de handdoeken). Het personeel spreekt redelijk Engels, is correct, maar niet echt vriendelijk. Het ontbijt is prima met mooi uitzicht vanaf het dakterras. Echter bij regen is de ontbijtzaal erg vol en loopt er water van buiten naar binnen (gladde vloer). Wij hadden dit hotel speciaal geboekt omdat we met een groep waren en 's avonds op het dakterras wilden verblijven. Bij de boeking hadden ze dit toegezegd, maar toen puntje bij paaltje kwam, mochten we er toch niet op. Qua service kunnen ze dus nog wel eea verbeteren.

Immer wieder dieses Hotel

Waren zum 3. mal in Flower Palace. Sehr zentral gelegen. 5 Minuten Gehentfernung zu Hagia Sophia und Topkapi Palast. Sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal. Sauber. Fruhstück gut.

Mitten im Zentrum !

Sauberes Hotel und mitten im Zentrum!! Sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal. Transfer von und zum Flughafen reibungslos und alle Absprachen wurden eingehalten ! Preise perfekt , besonders für diese Lage ! Mann kann zu Fuß alles erreichen was man so sich bei einem Besuch in Istanbul erhofft Hat zu sehen !

Immer wieder gerne !

Waren jetzt zum zweiten mal dort und können es jedem weiterempfehlen. Sehr sauber, Frühstück oben auf der neuen Terasse mit Bosporus-Blick, sehr sehr hilfsbereite und höfliche Mitarbeiter (v.a. Hr. Cengiz). Sehr sauberes und modernes Badezimmer, ist mir immer am wichtigsten. Sehr zentrale Lage, viele Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuss erreichbar (Hagia Sophia und Blaue Moschee etwa 5 min Fussweg). In unmittelbarer Nähe Strassenbahnhaltestellen. In der Nähe viele Restaurants und Cafes. Transfer klappt problemlos und ist sehr günstig (z.B. vom Atatürk Flughafen hin und zürück für 12€ pro Person). Bei früher Abreise aus Kulanz Frühstück angeboten. Also kurz und knapp : Geht hin ! Klein, gute Lage

Das Hotel ist 7-stöckig und für die Region üblich auf kleinstem Boden. Die Möbel sind sehr veraltet und nicht ganz funktionstüchtig. Auf Sauberkeit in der Küche wird nicht geachtet und die Küchendame bedient nicht alle Gäste gleichermassen, sie ist bestehlich und raucht in der Küche. Die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig und der Flur stinkt übelst nach Rauch. Der Manager ist sehr nett und bemüht die Gäste glücklich zu machen, was man vom Rest der Mannschaft leider nicht sagen kann. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist reichhaltig jedoch steht hier auch Sauberkeit nicht ganz gross. Die Putzfrauen machen ihre Arbeit ordentlich. Die Lage ist top und sehr nah an öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hat gestimmt.

Kleines Hotel in zentraler Lage

Das Hotel liegt in einer Seitenstraße in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Bahnhof Sekerci und ist somit vom Flughafen mit der Metro super zu erreichen. Zu Fuß ist man in 10 Minuten an der Hagia Sophia und Blauen Moschee. Auch die anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten (Galata-Brücke und Turm), Hafen etc. sind zu Fuß schnell erreichbar. Die etwas außerhalb gelegenen Touri-Punkte (Dolmabahce Palast, Taksim u.a.) sind mit der Metro bzw. Straßenbahn bequem zu erkunden. Alles in Allem ein empfehlenswertes Domizil. Luxus darf man natürlich für den Preis nicht erwarten. Für einen Kurztrip absolut in Ordnung.

Für einen Städtetrip ok

Einfaches, jedoch sauberes Hotel mitten im historischen Zentrum Istanbuls. Alles Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichbar. Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Nachts hoher Lärmpegel da ringsum pulsierendes Leben.

Entäuschung

Hotel liegt sehr günstig in zentraler Lage. Wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten kann man erlaufen. Das Hotel ist abgewohnt und unsauber. Das Frühstück war der Hohn! Es gab 2 Sorten Käse , nach dem Rührei mußte man nachfragen. Die Bedienung hatte nur mit ihrem Smartphone zu tun, Kaffee gab es nur aus einer schmutzigen Maschine in Pappbechern.

Passables Stadthotel in der nähe aller Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Altstadt. Leider waren die Zimmer nicht sauber, vor allem das Bad. Sehr, sehr hellhörig. Schöne Dachterasse, mit wundervollem Blick auf Istanbul.

Top location in the center of Istanbul

The hotel is very close to all main locations in Istanbul. Breakfast buffet on the roof of the building, with a very nice view on Bosporus.

Disappointing hotel in a good location

After two weeks of traveling throughout Turkey, this was the most disappointing hotel of our entire stay. I booked through Expedia and we arrived very late, the night reception didn't speak English very well and insisted I pay, which was odd because usually it goes through automatically with Expedia, or you pay upon checkout. I was so tired, I couldn't really check my email so I paid, and it turns out we were charged twice. The room was average in size but felt very worn - paint peeling from the walls, cigarette burn on the dresser, the drawers and door would not stay closed, sparse and broken hangers in the closet. The bathroom was a nice size with a large shower (for Turkey) but not squeaky clean hotel quality and the cleaning service was not thorough. We lacked shampoo/soap and remote batteries. The breakfast was the poorest of our whole trip - the quality of the food wasn't very good (and I'll eat anything), we didn't even bother on the second day. The day reception was really nice and helped to fix the double charge problem and also booked a really nice whirling-dervish performance at the Hocapasa Culture Centre just around the corner from the hotel for 60 TL. The airport shuttle booked by the hotel was 30 euro and went smoothly. I would try a different hotel next time - the area seemed to have many much nicer hotels. The sign wasn't even lit up! The street is inaccessible by car.

Hotel próximo das principais atrações de Istanbul

O Flower Palace Hotel oferece uma hospedagem honesta e confortável em Istanbul, além de ser facilmente acessível. Quarto espaçoso, com cama de casal confortável, aquecedor, escrivaninha, guarda roupas e TV a cabo LCD, e amplo banheiro equipado com aquecedor, lavabo, W.C. e chuveiro com box e ótima ducha (quente/fria). Ótima localização, próxima à estação Gülhane do tram (bonde), estação Sirkeci de trem e estação Eminönü de balsas, o que facilita o deslocamento na cidade, ficando também bem próximo das principais atrações turísticas de Istanbul, como a Hagia Sophia, Mesquita Azul, Sultanahmet, Grand Bazaar, palácio Topkapi, Bazar Egípcio e a Ponte de Gálata. O staff também era bem simpático e atencioso. A edificação possui elevador, o que facilita o acesso aos quartos. O café da manhã, incluído na diária, era farto e com boa variedade de opções, sendo servido no terraço do hotel, que proporcionava uma ótima vista panorâmica da cidade. Excelente custo x benefício.

VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE - I WOULD DEFINITELY GO AGAIN

THE HOTEL WAS GREAT, IN WALKING DISTANCE FROM GRAND PAZAR, AGIA SOFIA, TOPKAPI, SPICE MARKET, EVERYTHING WAS NEAR. THE ROOM WAS VERY CLEAN AND THEY CHANGED TOWELS AND CLEANED IT EVERYDAY! THE WIFI WAS QUICK AND THE TEVEVISION HAD AMERICAN SERIES, THAT WE WATCHED AT NIGHT. THE BREAKFAST WAS SERVED AT A VERY BEAYTIFUL TERRACE. THEY SERVED BOTH INDERNATIONAL AND TURKISH BREAKFAST, I MISS THEIR CHEESE BALLS COVERED WITH CHILLY. THEY ALSO HAD CEREAL, BREAD, JAMS AND OMELET. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS. I WOULD DEFINITELY GO AGAIN!!!
