I like that the hotel location is close to a lot of the sightseeing around Istanbul. Something worth noting is that the hotel is on a busy road and can sometimes get loud but other than that my stay was awesome. The staffs were nice and always ready to help when asked.

Hotel and rooms and staff were great . Only thing is they do not allow any guests into the room, So if you have friends or family or plan to have meetings , this is not allowed by this hotel .

I recently stayed at Hotel Bosfora in Beşiktaş, Istanbul and had a generally pleasant experience. The hotel offers a decent stay with charming and friendly staff who go out of their way to make guests feel welcome. Their hospitality was one of the highlights of my visit. In terms of cleanliness, the hotel is generally well-maintained, but I believe there is room for improvement to ensure a more spotless environment. It was not a major issue, but attention to detail could enhance the overall experience. The location has its pros and cons. While the surroundings are a bit quiet and okay, the hotel is situated on top of a hill, which makes walking around a bit challenging, especially for those who prefer easy access to nearby attractions. Overall, Hotel Bosfora is a good option if you’re looking for friendly service and a comfortable stay, but be prepared for the uphill walks.

Bosfora is home everytime I'm in Istanbul twice a year .. I love the convenience of location where everything is just a step away whether you need supermarket , laundry or coffee spot 😁the hotel itself is comfortable the double room Is spacious enough with comfortable bed and a sofa bed with an additional lounging sofa which makes it even more relaxing ☺️ however this time I did notice the room being dusty and the bathroom door frame is coming out, the bedside lamp coming off and the lights bulbs needs changing it jerks losing power .,it did get a little noisy at night and even though it says non smoking we could smell cigarette smoke through out the stay so if the management could look into it and sort it out it would be fabulous ☺️ checkin was with Ali who's always fantastic and make it easier for us 😁Ghoskel is equally nice and friendly .. night shift Ali is also polite and kind ☺️all of them makes us feel safe and comfortable which makes me visit again so thank you ☺️ I would definitely recommend staying there beautiful staff and I'm sure you won't be disappointed 😁

It's my 4th stay there and although the hotel for that area is pricy however it's good comfort and the surrounding area has everything you need to make ur stay more comfortable . The rooms are very much cosy and comfortable esp the double room is with a sofa bed which use to open up into but surprisingly it doesn't anymore so this shouldn't be advertised as it can be misleading .. we did try a twin room but the bathroom was pretty much very tiny and claustrophobic so i preferred the comfortability of the double room . One thing I notice is the room accumulates loads of dust so it needs hoovering every day the the bathroom tap for the toilet bidet and the toilet paper holder hinges are loose if broken please get them repaired .. the wifi this time seems intermittent had to phone couple of times to get reset which can be inconvenient!! Other than the stay was great esp the reception team Ali .. Ghoskel they are always helpful and friendly.. I would definitely recommend it x

Hotel looked very nice online but was very dirty once we entered, nothing felt clean. For the shower we had to use sandals just to feel clean, towels were always ripped and stained. Hotel sheets we asked to be changed multiple times but housekeeping never did. Wouldn’t recommend did not feel clean or comfortable our entire stay.

Fine for a business stay

This hotel is fine for a business stay and not too far from key areas. It does have a lively bar on the ground floor and the street outside is busy, so it was noisy. The staff were friendly and helpful.

This is my 4th visit and as you can see I keep going back to it .. the 3 Ali's are absolute gentlemen and always helpful 😁the new rooms are just lovely with great bedding 😁the sofa bed is a bonus 😁may be the TV can be repositioned and more lightings will definitely help 😁area us great with loads of options for laundry / dining / grocery and safe 😁

I was supposed to get the biggest suit in this hotel with balcony and kitchen but instead they called me two days before my flight and said that this room was not available and gave me two rooms in another hotel and asked me for extra charge $200.. we were so disappointed with the service.

This hotel reached out to me 2 days before my flight saying my room is unavailable to check in because they do some renovation. And gave me 2 rooms in different hotel because I had 5 people total. I had to pay extra money for the second room because they did not have suites for 5 people in new hotel. We did not had balcony, kitchen as I was planning on. I was really disappointed with the service.

extra charge unexplained!

The room condition at Hotel Bosfora was much lower than expected. The pictures does not justify the hotel condition at all. I requested a refund but was not granted. They sent me to a sister hotel called, Hotel Bosfora Plus, which was supposed to be at no additional charge, but there was an unauthorized , and unexplained charge on my credit card for $35.76 from the hotel, which they never explained neither refunded!

I am mixed on this hotel. The location is great, and it is easy to take taxis or the bus as there is a bus stop right next to it, pharmacy and market right next door. However the hotel itself is old and it shows. Bathroom was a little worn out, paint peeling, shower not that great as it leaks out into the bathroom floor. Floor was a little dusty in the room, pillows were hard, and overall the hotel just feels old and strange. Room is nice, but hallway is creepy. The staff were great, very nice and helpful, housekeeping was very nice, my wife was sick and the housekeeper who bakes the bread every morning for breakfast buffet brought food to our room. Only complaint I have about service is that there is only 2-3 people working at a time maximum, and after housekeeping finishes their work, only one person watching the whole facility. This meant if you needed any extra housekeeping amenities you had to ask for it early in the day, and at night you cant for example replace towels or things like that.

Ive been staying in the bosfora since 2 years and this time I was extremely disappointed with the level of customer service From the hotel and the staff overall I had 2 rooms booked on a 6 nights visit family trip and our stay wasn't good one of the room the key card pouch isn't working at all which keeps cutting the power off so many times we experienced no electricity at all upon reporting the issue Mehmet the afternoon receptionist keeps saying we need to insert in the slot which we kept doing and never worked the night receptionist didn't have a clue of what we reported the only helpful person was the day receptionist Goksel who tried his best to arrange things for us . In the room Is dusty the tap of the bidet keeps coming off and the a/c doesn't generate cold enough air in this heat of 30 plus degrees all everyone keep on doing is saying it's ok when it's not ok we pay our money to get comfort and service not these kind of issues. Unfortunately I won't be returning back to this hotel on my next trip due in 6 months as it's not worthy it my money it seems that management doesn't care about customer well being and welfare I will also be making a formal complaint about the issues to my travel agent not to review the hotel as 5 star ⭐ doesn't deserve it and I will highly recommend you invest somewhere else before finding dust, broken tap and no toilet paper service as well as no lights in the room

İlk girdiğim gün resepsiyonda olan kişi çok kabaydı. Aşırı kibar teyzem ben varmadan arayım konum servislerini kullanamıyorum bana tarif eder misin oteli dediğinde oldukça kaba bi şekilde “ben bilmiyorum konuma yazın demiş” ben otele geldiğimde teyzem hala otele varamamıştı ben varınca tekrar tarif istedi, ben de konudan habersiz resepsiyondaki kişiye sordum. Sabahta aradı söyledim, konuma yazsın dedi. Oda, özellikle banyo aşırı rutubet kokuyordu. Hemen altında çok tatlı bir pub var ancak o barda siz yoksanız, içmiyorsanız ve uyamanız gerekiyorsa bu görüştüden pek mümkün olmuyor.
