Amazing property in a great walkable location late into the night. The idea Faith area to stay on your first visit to turkey. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was awesome.

the hotel is a real luxorious hotel and has a fantastic location fir sightseeing, shopping, tram, train, ferry, cruise. it isvery qiet and cleand and breakfast is excellent. the reception staff and concierge were so helpful and kind. especially mr. yigit did make our stay unforgettable. Excellent Old City choice

Beautiful hotel with lovely comfortable room. In busy old part of the city but very close to city highlights and tram stops. I would stay again.

Great property as far as service, cleanliness, and location! Everyone on the staff was very kind and attentive since we checked in. Breakfast at the restaurant and drinks at the library bar are a bit pricy but worth it for the one day we decided to stay in. The one issue that I would say was mildly annoying was that the main road is closed to auto traffic/public taxis 10am-8pm. This was frustrating when attempting to get to places on time and also made me reluctant to wear heels often since we had to walk out to the main road for a taxi. With that being said, the staff is more than willing to call a taxi for you but you will still have to walk out to the main road. Overall, I’d recommend this property and would gladly stay here again.

We had an amazing stay during the holiday season 24/25. Our room was excellent, and the library and bar was really exquicitly elegant and cozy. The service was outstanding, and the concierge, Yigit, was next to none and really good at accomodating our wishes. We would recommend this hotel to everyone who would visit Istanbul.

Sanasaryan for great days in Istanbul

A fantastic hotel but small improvements necessary. Cleaning of room need to be earlier in the day. Breakfast service was bad one day but very good the other days. A special thank you to Yigit for excellent service👍👌

Fantastic property and service of reception and concierge was fantastic. Only element that let the rating down is the service received from staff in the restaurant at breakfast. The staff are polite but so laboured and had to keep asking numerous times for various things to be served - and to wait 45 mins for a cold omelette wasn't acceptable. They improved the rest of the days but not of a 5* service - with many other guests also complaining.. That being said, the rooms are very nice - luxuriously furnished and very clean and well maintained. A very good location to walk into the town/ market/ main mosques. Good hotel if wanting to avoid traffic.

I had wonderful stay at the Sanasarayan Han hotel. Beautifully decorated room and a spacious bathroom with personal touches. Very good sound isolation. Not a single piece of noise will get to the room, so good night sleep is guaranteed. Luxurious bed linen and bathroom robes. Coffee machine and excellent choice of teas are provided. Good breakfast choices with homemade bread and pastries with very attentive service from breakfast staff. And, of course, Turkish coffee is a delight. Staff is very attentive and helpful from very start to the final walk to the airport cab. Turkish tea on the arrival while admin work is sorted is very welcoming and warming. Special thanks to Yigit Sengelen and Hassan for adding to my experience here. Your help and attention are very much appreciated! It is situated in the very centre with shops and restaurants at an arm’s length. I can’t recommend this hotel enough while staying in Istanbul. It will add to the charm of exploring this great city.

This hotel is a mixed bag—while their bellboys (at least the two who assisted me) are excellent, sincere, resourceful, and easy to communicate with, some of the staff and management seem clueless about what constitutes a good hotel experience. I wouldn’t demand much if this were just a standard hotel, but when you label yourself as a “luxury collection,” charge premium room rates, and station fancy-looking staff around the premises, you should understand what customer experience truly means. Unfortunately, it seems the management is either still learning or unaware that they need to improve. Interestingly, during the same trip, I stayed at other hotels in the country that provided far better service and overall experiences. While I wouldn’t go so far as to suggest avoiding this hotel—it is in a convenient location and housed in a nice building—don’t expect a luxurious experience. Beneath the surface, it falls far short of luxury.

We arrived at 10pm and were put in an unacceptable room. The shower door was broken and made a terrible noise and one of the sinks wouldn’t drain. We moved to another room the next morning which was better but this was obviously a whole lot of trouble. This room had a thank you note from the manager to the previous occupant and a used towel hanging from a bathroom hook. It obviously hadn’t been properly cleaned. Another major problem for me was the dim lighting in the bathroom. It doesn’t have near enough light to apply makeup. The rooms are attractive and the bed is comfortable. The staff can be very friendly. Or not. The breakfast room gets overwhelmed all the time. That can lead to a lot of stress when you’ve got a tour scheduled.

A gem of a find- I thought we were headed to the Four Seasons Istanbul until I found this Marriot Bonvoy hotel as a completely overhauled historical building blocks from the Bosphorous and from the top sites in Istanbul. The architectural and interior design details are impeccable, but pale in comparison to the top notch staff that give a different meaning to hospitality. When Yigit the concierge met me he said that I had broken his heart by not responding to his heartfelt emails in wanting to impress me with the best arrangements to experience Istanbul. I thought the emails were a nice touch but that they were a formality! Every one was looking out for us, including having a boxed breakfast for our early departure, packaged beautifully in elegant black boxes. The Turkish breakfast at the restaurant was incredible!I would highly recommend this property for a fabulous stay in Istanbul… if you want the best bed, best sheets, best pillows, best shower, and best personal care by hospitality pro’s. Thank you to everyone there who took such great care of us. It made our stay in Istanbul memorable.

This hotel has phenomenal staff. I have absolutely not a single complaint and would praise everyone from housekeeping to Bell Hoff as well as the concierge service. Everyone is extremely polite and extremely helpful and always willing to take time to talk to us. I can’t compliment this place enough. You cannot go wrong staying here.

Wonderfully updated property within walking distance to Spice Bazaar, Grand Bazar, 15 min walk to Blue Mosque and Bospherous just around the corner. Staff was amazing. Yigit concierge and GM have 5 star white glove service. Concierge even walked us to a taxi stand to make sure we found it. Rooms are modern and great size bathroom for being in Europe. Can’t say enough. We will be back for sure.
