Great accomodation for the money

This was a great stay for the money. The manager was flexible and helpful in both giving us a room upgrade from no balcony to a room with balcony. The accommodation placement is really strategic to turistic areas such as the Blue mosque, Grand Bazar...etc and near some of the most beautiful seaside walks that Istanbul can offer. Additionally, the location is near to one of the best terraces in that area (Semaver) which offers good selections of food and beverages (including alcoholic drinks) at much better prices than those place where you get almost dragged in. For instance, while Adana Kebab costs from 510 to 730 to at diverse restaurants, at Semaver cost only 450 to.

A wonderful hotel

It's a very nice hotel! Everything is beautiful, clean, and comfortable, the air conditioner is working for your arrival. A large balcony with a lovely view. A cozy room with a refrigerator, microwave, kettle, and dishes. Convenient location in the center of the Old Town, about 7 minutes to all the sights of the Old Town. The staff was very friendly and helped us with various issues, including calling a taxi at 4 a.m. I really liked this hotel!

Charming

We had an amazing four night stay here. The lovely lady owner and Fatin who works for her went above amd beyond to make our stay memorable. There is a travel agency as part of the business so we could book tours conveniently. We had a room on the top floor with a balcony which provided a wonderful view. This is a charming old building right in the middle of the Sultanhemet district so close to everything. I would highly recommend.

Lower your expectations

Good location and comfortable enough. Don’t take breakfast with your room. Not that great and there are plenty of breakfast options in the area for same price. Room service consists of garbage pick up and towel swap. Don’t expect more even if you ask.

We booked the room in this area but turn out a different address building about 5min walk. We had 3 heavy bags difficult to carry. Communication is poor, Cleaner staff not nice. We were not welcomed at all. Overall area is nice, but staff need to be polite and friendly with guests.

Our Sultanahmet Suites experience was mixed. Initially we were given a very small room which was clearly not what we paid for. Fatih, the manager was a great guy and very accommodating. We eventually changed rooms 4 times during our week long stay for one reason or another but the last two rooms were nice and spacious albeit with minor issues like AC out of order or drains blocked. Overall would recommend but suggest making sure you check which room you've paid for.

The location is perfect. Restaurants, souvenir shops, grocery stores, and a money exchange office are within walking distance. Some points for improvements: 1) one of the two air conditioners was broken, 2) there were no sheets for sofa beds in the room, and 3) the Wi-Fi was slow. Overall, the room is large enough for a family, and it was a comfortable stay.

This place is NOT LIVEABLE and should not be on the market .. Why? 1. WC broken 2. Basin Broken 3. You buy breakfast, there is no place for breakfast for deluxe room 4. Electric connection, extremely unsafe

the only thing we didn't like, is the fact that we were taken to another bedroom the first night., not what we paid for..the next day we were taken to the room we booked..it was clean and tidy close to everything we wanted to visit .. Value for money, satisfying breakfast, very polite staff, great communication

I was told when i arrived at the Sultanamet hotel, that that wasn't the reservation and if i wanna to Stay there must pay $200.00 Extra ...that i did because i was tired ...and the Person worki g there do not wanna give a receipt even after i recuest a couple times and he tell me to pay Cash in American USA dollars..the Next day i Observe the place had alot bugs...! I did Report the Situation...they cleened but still had bugs...?

Our stay at Sultanahmet Suites was great! We were looking for a flat for our stay since we are a little family. The flat was equipped with a large comfy bed, 2 sofa-beds, full kitchen and a living room. The place was clean. The area was right in the old town area with walkable distance to the Blue Mosque, Agia Sofia and Basilica Cistern which was great for us. There is an amazing variety of affordable/good quality places to eat right at the corner of the hotel. Same for basic grocery places and even a small local supermarket. The flat was not fancy looking but definetly cozy and an excellent value for money.

Poor management. Missed room service a few times during our 1 week stay. Moved us by force from a room to another saying that the first room was reserved for someone else?!?! Will never go back to Sultanahmet Suites. There are better options in the same area.
