"My wife and I stayed there overnight before heading on a cruise from South Hampton to Spain and Portugal. The hotel was outstanding and close to the cruise port. The food in the restaurants were delicious and amazing.The room was extremely clean and the bed super comfortable. The overall hotel amenities were above and beyond the norm. She took care of us from check-in to check-out, especially my grandnieces with special treats. Listen up Village Hotel Management, you have a gem in Zara and her customer service skills and empathy for guests should be taught to all staff. On this trip I stayed in six hotels from London to Paris to Amsterdam, but I can say that the Village Hotel stay was the second to none because of Zara. "
