Peaceful Island Getaway, Port Susan views w/BBQ

"Our stay was fantastic! The house is huge, with an incredible play room for our kids, a large deck to enjoy the view, and a well stocked kitchen to prepare and cook your own meals. The inside of the house appeared to have been recently renovated and it was clean, inviting, and peaceful. There were even ripe blackberries in the back yard. I would highly recommend it for some quality family time."
Unique Camano Cabin w/ Mountain + Water Views

"The cabin is very charming, with a lovely view of the water. We spent much of our time gathered around the fire table chatting and admiring the scenery - including an adorable rabbit who came by daily to visit. The cabin provided ample room for 2 couples and the dogs, and everything we needed was there. Very clear instructions from our host! I do recommend reading and following the access/driveway instructions carefully since the steep driveway is almost hidden. The walk to the beach is also very steep. It was fine for me, but another person in our party needed to use the car. And Camano Island is very small, with quite limited amenities (that's part of its charm, of course). We were not there on a weekend, and the restaurant we hoped to dine at was closed. Consider bringing your food or buying it at the local grocery. You don't really want to miss that view anyway!"

"We loved this house. The picture windows looking out at the bay were perfect to sit and enjoy my coffee without going outside on chilly mornings. We loved the fireplace in the morning tp take the chill off.The owners were so good to us. And the neighbors are wonderful. We loved the quiet location."

Stylish & Modern Cabin Retreat on Puget Sound!

"The only thing we would suggest is if anyone is planning on staying here with any young children toddler or younger to bring a baby gate for the stairs if they're worried about it we luckily didn't have any issues but they are steep. The check out time was very early it would've been nice if it could've been later like noon we ended up leaving the night before to avoid not getting out late. The garbage can was completely full when we arrived and was picked up right before we left so we weren't able to put anything in until we left so we disposed most of our garbage ourselves. There were lots of toys for the kids which was great but the games were missing pieces which was ok we put them up anyways since we had a little one. This place was awesome had everything we needed it was beautiful inside and was spacious and had a great view and the price was more than fair we were very pleased. There was a group of teenagers that came to the home and rung the doorbell the day before we left asking to come in and get water which really rubbed me the wrong way but didn't give us any problems when we declined. There is a gas station and plaza on the island but I don't think it's open all night so be sure to get all the things you need for evenings otherwise you'll have to go into stanwood. It's a great place to stay would highly recommend."

"This property is so much more than a vacation rental. This was an experience! The home is beautiful with attention to every detail, fluffy towels, a completely stocked chefs’ kitchen, tons of closet space and a panoramic view of the sound through walls of windows. The highlight for us were the alpacas. We fed them and petted them. Our hosts spent time telling us all about them and shared stories of their years as breeders. Wonderful!"

"Plenty of room for a small gathering and dinner with friends, Main bedroom for sleeping you can hear the waves hit the shore. Great location and Fantastic neighborhood, very quiet. helpful neighbor who let us use her Kayaks."

"TL:DR Beautiful modern well-appointed clean house on 5 acres in a very rural setting.Six very nice bedrooms, large dining room, large game room, laundry room, big kitchen with adjacent large living room. *Very* quiet except as noted below. The host was extremely responsive to queries. We'd gladly stay here again.The website description is very accurate, the house has pretty much everything you need for a fun stay. Camano Island is surprisingly rural considering how close it is to Seattle; we felt like we were out in the country for our whole visit. The house sits probably a quarter mile from the road on five forested acres, we couldn't hear anything from the not-very-close neighbors.There are two state parks and one county(?) park on the island, all of which are on the water so plenty of opportunity for water sports. There are also quite a few labeled beaches on the island. If you like water you'll love it here. The island is small enough that everything is ten minutes or so travel from the house.Two things to be aware of when renting. These are NOT complaints or reasons not to rent, just considerations when thinking about this place.1. There's a naval airbase ten miles away, with occasional flights over the house which are quite noisy. Not often, but might freak out timid animals/kids.2. The loft bedroom at the top of the house has no windows and no AC, gets very warm on hot nights. They do have fans in place which help some.Highly recommended!"
