"Older facility but very well maintained. Beautiful view from the room. Happy hours is a plus (drinks included, foot bath with a view, snacks). Recommended if you have a car to explore the Izu Peninsula during your stay as there is more limited options nearby the hotel (nearby town has more options for dining). "
"We got a suite with a private jacuzzi on the balcony - the view was great, but the place is falling apart a bit. The tub was leaking in places and had a slime-y residue inside, and multiple floorboard soft the balcony were rotted through and gave way underfoot. The photos here aren't quite reflective of the property's current state. Even in the public onsen, the windows are covered with salt on the outside, obscuring the view. "Very clean and tidy room, comfortable beds, the owner maintained the hotel in a very good condition, you can relax yourself by their private onsen, highly recommended!!"

Unfortunately I didn’t see during booking that toilet and bathroom are shared for all guests (4-6 rooms, not sure exactly) but luckily we went to bed early and wake up late, so avoided the natural...
"We had a really lovely stay here. We felt totally immersed in the atmosphere of a traditional Japanese Ryokan. The food was both delicious and always beautifully presented. We are really glad that we made this stop as part of our travels around Japan. Mount Fuji was mostly covered in isolated low level cloud, but we did get a gorgeous view once or twice.
Points to note are that there are no other facilities other than your room and dining room which is accessed at set, pre agreed times. Early...
