"On the whole it's a decent place if you want a quiet escape with a beach that's ideal for surfing. It also has a free shuttle bus that does runs in amd out of Shimoda. However, the hotel is quite old and has lots of leaks spreading into the corridors outside the room. The mani buffet for breakfast is good but v expensive for what is available, as is the lunch and dinner options so id recommend not eating there unless you're happy to pay the premium.
