Izu Peninsula Vacations

"We had a wonderful stay at Yukairou Kikuya last week! The property is gorgeous and the private onsen in our room was wonderful and much appreciated after a long stay in Japan with much walking! We really enjoyed the town of Izu - Shizouka with its quaint feel, the lovely temple, bamboo forest and the beautiful river running through the town. It was such a lovely break from all the large city stays we had and my husband and I have already discussed returning without our tenn children as it is...

"We couldn’t be happier with our stay here. We arrived last minute late at night after having trouble with an Airbnb reservation nearby. The staff is so kind, the amenities/breakfast/restaurants are fantastic and the rooms are incredibly comfortable. The beach was so relaxing and to fall asleep hearing the water each night is worth the price alone. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the Izu Hantou. We hope to be back soon!"

"If you want a traditional Japanese Ryokan experience, this is it. With two onsens ensuite, one outdoor one indoor and large rooms with a beautiful garden, and a reasonable price, it’s hard to beat. 11-min walk from the station is worth it."
