"this is a really great property. These folks are just getting started with it and managed to gracefully handle all issues even though they’re in the throes of starting up their Airbnb they were wonderful staff, and I truly look forward to seeing them grow and growing this business with these really cool historical rooms and space. Ollie's Place - Tiny House@EvansCliff Hot Tub w/large Sibley Double Tent COMBO!
10/10 Excellent
"Amazing place. Glamping in the best possible way! My daughter and I loved the tent and the tiny house served as a place to make coffee and hot tea to enjoy on the porch. We enjoyed the hot tub every evening and only needed AC in the tent 1 night out of 3 which was amazing for us coming from Gulf Coast Texas. Amazing that there are other stays on property close by but never a disturbance. Quiet time is certainly quiet time. We had a packed itenerary and were in late and up early but it was so peaceful and lovely. My daughter at first thought we were way too far out in the country but came to love the drive. We visited Mount Rushmore (drove past Crazy Horse but chose get back to Hot Springs before it was too dark) Crystal Cave, Wind Cave, Custer State Park (Wildlife loop in the evening, then morning, then afteroon attempting to see the most animals) and climbed to Cathedral Spires in addition to many other adventures nearby like swimming at Evan's Plunge and walking downtown and visiting Coldbrook lake. We stayed 3 nights and left early to drive through the Badlands and visit Wall Dug before catching a flight out. We never felt rushed or too far away from everything we wanted to do!"

"Such an amazing little site! We loved our stay and the kids loved it even more. Wade was an excellent host. He introduced us to his goats and dogs, and let the kids feed them. Then tent was great and comfortable, and everyone enjoyed the hot tub after a day of hiking and adventures."
"The only reason I don’t want to write this review is that I worry our summer timeslot will be filled with other lucky groups. This was our second summer staying at this lodge for our multi-generational family, and it was just as perfect as the first time. With plenty of bedrooms, large gathering areas, and a fully equipped kitchen with a large dining space, it easily accommodated all of us and made our time together both comfortable and memorable. The lodge is located down a long dirt road tucked away in a somewhat remote area, which was just what we were looking for. The peaceful setting, gorgeous views, and privacy are exactly what we were looking for, so well worth the drive. Being able to disconnect from life’s busy-ness and enjoy each other’s company without distractions has become something we all look forward to. It’s like camping with our own private hotel. The outdoor space is perfect for games, meals, or just appreciating nature. The kids had a blast exploring, and the adults loved the quiet mornings and family gatherings around the firepit in the evenings. Everything we needed was provided, and check in was easy. It’s rare to find a place that works so well for a group of our size, but this lodge now truly feels like a second home. We will be returning.
