Slice of Lake Life - My happy place! Relax on the huge screened porch steps away from Lake Martin. Quiet Sandy Creek area has the perfect balance of activity vs privacy. Ski/tube or fish right outside. The yard is flat and grassy, perfect for kicking the ball or laying out. Sit and talk around the fire pit in the evenings. Inside, entertain yourselves with various board games, books and puzzles.

House has a private boat ramp and dock. Please be aware that the lake water level is controlled by Alabama Power and in the winter depending on what they do as well as the amount of rain received you may need to use the public launch. The water level is typically lowered gradually starting in September and is raised gradually starting in March. Please check LakeMartin.com/Level.asp to see the estimated level for your visit. We recommend the level to be 488 MSL to comfortably use the launch. At this level the floating dock will be approximately 4.5 feet deep at the front of the slip and 5.5 feet deep at the back. At 487 MSL you can still use the floating dock, but will likely need to use the public launch at the end of Youngs Ferry Rd.

There is plenty of parking with a long driveway, parking area, as well as the boat launch.

For outdoor fun we have various floats for swimming, a four person pedal boat, and kayaks for the adventurous. In the shed there are outdoor games. If you bring a pet, there is a solid tie down set up if needed.

Four bedroom, two and a half bath home with a sleeper sofa in den easily sleeps 10. Great room with living and dining areas has a window wall overlooking the lake. Fully equipped kitchen and laundry room. Eat inside or outside under ceiling fans on the screened in porch. All rooms have ceiling fans. In the king room closet is a pack-n-play (no crib bedding is provided) and high chair.

There are Smart TVs in the Living Room, both bedrooms with king beds, and the bedroom with the queen/trundle. All have access to your personal Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu etc. accounts.

The neighborhood as friendly dogs off leash, so don't be surprised if you have a welcoming party.

House has exterior cameras primarily for safety when the home is unoccupied.

Annual Family Fishing Trip

Spring Break Trip

We loved this property and would definitely consider it again. I enjoyed sitting on the deck and reading while my son kayaked and he and his dad fished. Great communication.

Great pet friendly house

We and our Labrador Retriever really enjoined spending a week in this very clean, well furnished house. The big grassy backyard and the dock were wonderful. Great for paddleboarding and boating.

Perfect Get away

We absolutely loved how the house was just a few feet from the water! It had a boat ramp with dock making it super convenient for swimming, boats, and jet skiing.

Everything you need for your stay is here. Beautiful home and property. Huge dock for fishing, boating. Very clean. I caught several bream right off the dock. Very peaceful in off season. Will definitely stay here again.

Lovely lake house getaway

We had a very nice stay at the house. Everything is well maintained and comfortable. The beds are nice so everyone was able to sleep well. The kitchen is nicely supplied with a few spices! The view is amazing. Our dogs had the best time swimming right off the back yard. The back porch was our favorite. We spent lots of time outside even using the firepit in the evenings. Highly recommend the property. We hope to come back in the summer!

Great house and amazing location

The house was spacious for the 8 of us staying there. The front yard was great for yard games and the screened-in porch was perfect for hanging out in the evenings. A huge bonus was having our own boat ramp on property.

Family reunion and football

We loved the property inside and out. The location was near many restaurants and other attractions! A short trip to Auburn for a football game was the icing on the cake for our extended weekend! Finally, our host Pam went above and beyond in her care and attention to our family! We would definitely like to return here for another family reunion!

Secluded on the water paradise

Great location on the water. Very quiet,private dock,place to swim,and everything you could ask for in the house. My wife , myself, and our two dogs absolutely loved this place. The host was awesome and always available to answer any questions. 10 out of 10 rating for us !!!!

Great getaway!

We loved this house - perfect for our family and a few friends. House was clean and had everything we needed. One-story house was great for older parents (there are stairs down off the back deck). Prior guests had left water toys out so they needed a little TLC, but otherwise we had a wonderful time and will stay again for sure!

Relaxing and Quiet Stay

Enjoyed a quiet and chilled trip with a couple of family members and my dog! We stayed put once we got to the lake house with only a couple of trips to the grocery. There are plenty of outdoor spaces for enjoying the water views, and my dog had a ball with all the swimming and fetching! Pam is an excellent host and quick to respond! The neighbor’s dog greeted us and would stop by on occasion to make sure all was okay!😁 Would definitely come back to this rental property!

We loved how equipped the kitchen was for us to enjoy cooking while watching the Bowl Games. Also loved a sunset fire in the fire pit that was supplied with lots of wood too! So many little touches make this a great getaway house! We will be back! Happy New Year!

Perfect Lake Martin Rental House!

We thoroughly enjoyed our first (but not last) trip to Lake Martin at this house....it had everything we wanted and more! This was a multi generational family get away to celebrate the end of the summer and multiple birthdays. The house was perfect--we absolutely loved the screened porch and the shed filled with kayaks, tubes, life jackets, everything we needed. The host was very accommodating and communication was timely and very easy. We loved the water hammock and floating dock! My son who turned 14 on this trip was ecstatic to be able to bring his dog, our yellow lab, on the trip with us. We would definitely stay here again!

Didn’t want to leave

Wonderful house. The yards were filled with beautifully filled with blooming flowers. Then the view from the screened porch was what you go on vacation for, relaxing. The morning were my favorite. The sunrise on the docks just sitting and giving thanks. The owner was easy to communicate with. She gave some helpful hints about the area. Would love to go back . This was just what I needed.

Lakeview stay

The property was very nice. The host was patient and helpful. However, the neighbor dogs were very intimidating, I traveled with my grandparents and a toddler , having large barking dogs roaming around made it hard to enjoy the outside. Also as a pet friendly facility the house was of fur!!! The rugs, the blankets and couch cushions were full of white dog hair. Our clothes were covered and it was hard not to track the fur to the bedrooms and our cars. I did let the host know this was a bigger issue for us. Over I believe this place would be a nice place to visit in the summer with your family and pets
