Quinta Teca with two pools near Playa Hermosa beach

Quinta Teca (translates to Teak Country house) is a solidly-built vacation rental home in a quaint country style, with two private pools. One pool is shallow, perfect for soaking with a drink in hand and also for children and seniors. The second pool is deeper, ideal for a refreshing swim.

The property is in a wooded area surrounded by teak trees, where white-faced capuchin monkeys love to come to visit. It is just a 7-minute drive outside reknowned surfing village of Playa Hermosa, inside the private and exclusive community of Opera Salvaje.

Quinta Teca’s design is inspired on old Spanish architectural forms and elements. Roofs are covered in rustic Nicaraguan clay tiles that have weathered beautifully. All rooms are connected by a sky-lighted and naturally ventilated hallway that starts at the house entrance.

The covered balconies off the living room and Master Bedroom are complemented by thick wooden pillars and offer seating that allow for outdoor living and the contemplation of the teak trees as they sway by the breeze rolling down the hill.

The air-conditioned great room offers a spacious living area with a sofa bed and other couches to seat up to 8 people and an internet-connected 32" LED flatscreen TV with Blu-ray player. The dining area has seating for 6 and the full kitchen has a breakfast bar for 4. Wireless or wired internet connection is available for free.

The cozy air-conditioned bedrooms all boast black wrought iron beds with comfortable mattresses, walls adorned with colorfully designed pareos and high ceilings with fans.

The Master bedroom has a Queen size bed, an ensuite bathroom with combination shower/tub and a walk-in closet with safe box. The second and third bedrooms (Queen and 2 Twins) have large open closets and share a bathroom with shower just outside their doors (this bathroom is not air conditioned).

Outdoors are two good-sized pools next to a large terrace with lounge chairs and a brick charcoal barbecue grill. The shallow pool has built-in steps and bench for soaking, and a maximum depth of 1.20 m (3' 11"). The deep pool has depths of 1.50 m (4' 11") in the shallow end and 1.70 m (5' 7") in the deep end.

The driveway is large enough for several cars to park and the garage with automatic gate allows for safe parking of one car.

The community has a roaming security guard at night. The house has decorative wrought iron on all windows and an electronic security alarm for added peace of mind.

Supermarkets and restaurants offer delivery service so you don’t have to spend time driving.

Quinta Teca is the perfect location for surfing Playa Hermosa and exploring the coast down to Manuel Antonio.

The pricing quoted here is for the entire property and the base price is valid for up to 6 adults. Additional children ages 3-17 years old are US$15 + fees & tax per person per night
. Children under 3 years old are not charged this fee. The maximum occupancy is for up to 6 adults and 2 children 3-17 years old.

* Pets allowed: only dogs of quiet nature. A $25 + VAT pet fee per stay per dog will be requested. This pet fee does not cover damage caused by pet. Dogs must not swim in pool or climb beds or furniture. Dogs must be on a leash when walking outdoors. Owners must collect and dispose properly of all dog waste.
