"Positives: Beautiful small hotel with a great restaurant/bar in first floor and one block from the water...well maintained and big rooms. Loved it ! Restaurant staff was great and food was great. Negatives: It is in a very odd area...old buildings around...just odd... It is on the railroad tracks but with the great windows and their noise machine I never heard them. You need to work on customer service with the staff...at check in the young girl had an i don't care attitude. When I then asked about where we can walk in the area, an older girl told me to download the QR code on the window...it gave me nothing...she gave me nothing..."

"We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Communication with the host was absolutely excellent. The cottage had everything we needed. We stay in a lot of VRBO cabins or cottages. One thing that we OFTEN find is the lack of lighting. Part of the problem is that we're older renters; we need more light. Having said that, this cottage was conveniently located and had a lovely back patio for morning coffees and reading. We had a great pub meal at Cantilever, almost across the street. We enjoyed ice cream in the evenings at Tara's, half a block away on the riverfront. I must say that I had the worst taco in my life at Looney's Taco Bar, but perhaps if I'd have chosen a burrito it would have been better. Not sure.If we were to return to the area, we'd chose to stay here again."
Huge beach front family-friendly dream house

"We have been going to a different lake property every summer for our annual family lake trip. This property was everyone’s favorite! They have requested to come back again next summer. One highlight was the beach and abundance of water toys ie: tubes, lily pad, beach toys! Great beach for kids!! Very easy access to the boat launch. We all liked the big open area in the main level - great for family meals and games! Bikes were fun to use to bike to the ice cream shop! Highly recommended! :)"

"It appears when booking through Expedia that the host has more than one property available. The property we were directed to stay in was not the one we booked, but the one we booked was a few more dollars, had a nicer shower and slightly different seating setup. The unit was nice, very clean, convenient, but I would have booked the cheaper-priced unit if I’d known that’s the one I’d be staying in."
