Maine Bed & Boat, MAZU on the scenic Damariscotta River
10/10 Excellent
"For the third year, my daughters and I had the most wonderful five days aboard Mazu. It is immaculate, and is the perfect spot to enjoy the extraordinary views down the Damariscotta River, as well as the great proximity to all the shops and restaurants that Damariscotta has to offer. We enjoyed swimming off the boat, indulged in numerous delicious local oysters, and simply relaxed together aboard the boat, playing games and being together in this beautiful place. Thanks to Olga and Chip for your attention to detail, for always being available should we have any questions, and for providing this special summer time for our family. We can’t wait to be back!"

"Lovely, small cottage. Very convenient to Main Street shops. A great coffee shop just across the street! The outside garden area is particularly charming for relaxing and reading. Host was friendly and readily available."
Tree-lined home with screened porch & perfect Midcoast location
10/10 Excellent
"Tucked away in the charming village of Damariscotta, Maine, "Nature's Nook" was the perfect home base for our adventure. Nestled in a quiet, wooded neighborhood on the north side of town near Highway 1, this lovely home put us in the heart of everything we love about Maine. Our family of six were comfortable all week. The kids enjoyed the paved drive and played pickleball and wiffleball in the yard. From here, we explored Acadia, Bar Harbor, Camden, Maiden’s Cliff, Freedom (and the unforgettable Lost Kitchen), Augusta, Pemaquid Point, Popham Beach, Freeport Outlets, Harpswell, and Boothbay Harbor. In just ten days, we packed in so many incredible experiences.A huge thanks to Vrbo and the homeowners for sharing their space—it truly felt like home. We indulged in "lobstah" five times and oysters three times, and loved every minute in the Damariscotta area. Maine never disappoints!"
Midcoast Maine apartment perfect for exploring the area's treasures!
10/10 Excellent
"Everything we needed and perfect location for touring Boothbay Harbor, Camden, Rockland, Wiscasset and day trips to Freeport. Carmen was a great hostess and was very responsive. My grandson was very excited about the DOT crew doing roadwork and he spent hours watching them - added treat. We were not impacted by noise from the business below, barely knew they were there. Very highly recommend."
Don't miss the Pumpkin Festival weekend filled with lobster dinners and oysters
10/10 Excellent
"We loved everything about this house! One of the bedrooms maybe would be more appropriate for a kid as there weren’t outlets and internet access wasn’t great. But this didn’t dim our enjoyment whatsoever. We had a great time lounging and relaxing on the porch and felt super close to everything. The town was beautiful and so many fun options. Highly recommend!"
Maine Waterfront Cottage: Nestled on an acre of land, with 500ft of shore front
10/10 Excellent
"They say you can't go home again, but if you're a native returning to Maine (like us), you can come pretty close to it by staying at the Sea Lavender Cottage! We were four adults and an infant and there was plenty of room inside and outside. The Cottage is exceedingly clean and tastefully furnished and decorated. The views from the deck are stunning and we spent a lot of time with the provided binoculars watching the antics of the wildlife on the tidal river. We also used the kayaks to explore much the area. The Cottage is located nearby to the very charming town of Damariscotta. That region of state offers many nice attractions for coastal day trips.David is an exceptional and kind host. He made sure that our stay was as comfortable as possible. He gave us a quick tour of the property when we checked in and offered helpful tips for our visit. When we left, he was interested in any feedback regarding our stay. We hope to stay there again."
Spacious lakefront home on lush 5-acre lot with sunny deck & private dock
10/10 Excellent
"Amazing house with plenty of space for our extended family (9 people). Loved the living room, deck and yard for family to spend time together. Kids loved the bedroom with 4 single beds. AC worked great throughout the house during a hot July week. Lake was clean and dock was great for swimming and floating on tubes. Would definitely stay again. "
A Charming Waterfront Cottage with Touches of Elegance
10/10 Excellent
"Our stay here was magical! Communication with David was a breeze from the start. Due to flight times from Florida, we arrived in the evening, but he was there to greet us with his warm smile & friendly demeanor. The cottage is ideal! You will think you stepped into a "Maine Cottages" magazine. It is well equipped, and was capable of hosting our "Lobstah Boil" with 20 guests, a live Jazz Saxophonist & a keyboard player! The views can't be beat. Want to kayak? Want to canoe? Conveniently located to restaurants, shopping, The Hannaford, and anything else your heart desires. David has you covered! We're already looking at dates to return!!"
