"I loved this property, it was in close proximity to where we needed to be. Staff was very helpful, restaurants, and bars were wonderful, elevators were fast, and water pressure was AWESOME! Would definitely stay here again"

"I would say this hotel is very good the place is old and historical very close to many travel spots including Times Square, central park and more I would say the immmates were ok not very good overall pretty good they clean and work they don’t have much room service but good standards for very few days or more like 3-5 days would be good no more bring your own shampoo and conditioner the one there is very bad so bring your own I would say it’s very close to most places people like to go to like restaurants and cafes it’s charming and old fashion like very old I would say it’s not modern but still good the elevator is very long wait it takes forever for it to get to your floor especially if you’re a low floor like3-10 it’s really long wait cause it goes to high levels first like 20-30 so it’s ok tho have fun!! Have a great trip to New York!!!!"

"The hotel is ok- well located in midtown, and the staff was helpful and friendly. Lobby is new, modern and pleasant. However, the hallways to the rooms are dingy and tattered. Puckered ripped carpet and sagging wallpaper. The room itself was fine- nothing special but really ok. Old fashioned in style but ça va. However, the bathroom was a mess. Like an old hospital bathroom from 1982. Everything worked ok, but it was a cheap sloppy build. And the shower anti-slip mat was absolutely gross- with some icky black fungus hiding below. Some guests complained that the AC was out. Luckily ours was ok. For 2 nights it was manageable, and not a terrible price for NYC, but the place needs a serious facelift and some hefty TLC. I would not stay there again."

"When I made the reservation, the picture was quite different from the room. It was tiny. The bathroom smelled of urine and the tub had rust stains. We brought this up to the front desk & told we couldn’t get another room. The only thing they could offer was a refund & we could go somewhere else. Trying to find a last minute hotel in that area with a reasonable price wasn’t going to work. They only offered a can of Lysol for the smell. We were suppose to receive a complementary beverage card at check in & didn’t receive it. Had to come back to ask for it."
