"The staff was amazing. The venue is old and worn out. There is one elevator, I waited 10 minutes to get to my floor. Housekeeping does a good job of making it as clean as possible, but the bed creaks, and the rugs are in need of replacement. As is everything in the room. Although it was not cheap, for a NYC hotel room, it was affordable. The room was quiet. TV worked well."

"The building is located in a comparatively quiet neighborhood with an abundance of local shops, cafes and restaurants. Staff was polite and efficient. The lobby and the room were clean.
