"Clean room reasonable breakfast, good bar and choice of food."

"House cleaning left dirty towels in the room for the entire stay we had to ask multiple times for new towels. Waves bar staff were incredibly rude however Marvin and the front desk said he would address these staff about the service we received."

"Staff was really helpful. By waiving daily room cleaning, we got free drinks once a day. They also helped us get a taxi to the train station for the morning we left. Because we were staying several nights, the staff put us in a room facing the inner court of the hotel which made it really quiet. The breakfast included was excellent and realizing the cost of meals to eat out, this was very helpful. City taxes were added on to the hotel bill and seemed a bit high, but we were warned by Expedia. Hair dryer in room has a short cord, so difficult to stand at sink and dry hair, but not impossible. Nice large shower. No fridge in room, but we didn't really need one. Overall cost for the room we felt was a bit high, but it was prime time tulip viewing season, so maybe cheaper during other parts of the year. For security reasons you have to scan your room card to get the elevator to work. Took us a while to figure that one out. Maybe we were told, but we missed hearing it. Location was about 3 blocks from train station and about one block from tram pickup point. It is also located right near a park area with lots of cafe restaurants nearby. Would gladly book here again if we make another trip to the Netherlands."

"We were offered an upgrade to one of their new rooms. Simply excellent rooms, large and luxury feel. We also ate in the restaurant and all four of us thought the various dishes were excellent. This is a fantastic hotel for the price point."

"Very clean, everything felt newly refurbished to a very good standard, spacious, very nice people, fantastic location in the centre of everything but very quiet. You have everything you need, microwave, full size ( very cool!) fridge, plenty of plugs, hair drier, but none of the unnecessary clutter hotels sometimes give. The station is 15 minute level walk, supermarket opposite and another 2 down the road, and all of the key sights 5 to ten minute walk, then if you want to go further afield ( which is easy!) Central tram stop is 3 minutes walk This is an ideal place to stay in The Hague, and The Hague is an ideal location to explore this part of The Netherlands. Don't miss Delft (a few mins on no 1 tram) Leiden, Haarlem. Rotterdam is very easy also Amsterdam an Utrect( drop in on Gouda on the way!)"

"Super charming hotel right in the middle historic central Den Haag. Easy access and walking to variety of restaurants and cafes. Public transit options to get to train station within a short block or two. Highly recommend!"

"The apartment was very clean and spacious. All staff we met were extremely courteous and helpful especially Katriana. She went to great lengths to help us with any issues and we so enjoyed her lovely personality and helpful referrals about great places to eat. Even saw her at a restaurant she had recommended to us and she and her daughter stopped to chat with us. Her daughter was extremely personable and a delight to know as well. Thanks for the great stay. "

"The listing failed to state that an expensive cleaning fee would apply and we were advised of this by the hotel after the cancellation period had ended. This was challenged but the hotel continued to insist that it needed to be paid and that it was advised (despite it not being in the listing or the confirmation email). Hotels.com had to get involved via an escalated complaint. The check in experience was also poor as the keys were not in the lock safe. This was resolved. Despite this the apartment is very nice and convenient parking on site (for an extra charge)"
