"They need to work on the food. Absolutely no options. I know it is a wellness property but do not rry to be officious on random cousines.. if we are travelling to Sri Lanka we want healthy local cousines too."

"We had a fantastic stay and couldn’t recommend this hotel more highly. The staff were absolutely wonderful, so warm, hospitable and genuinely kind, and they consistently went above and beyond to make our stay special. Some of the kindest and most welcoming staff I’ve ever come across at a hotel. Our rooms were great and incredibly spacious, and the food was amazing too. We had dinner at the hotel a few times during our stay and really enjoyed it, and breakfast was excellent as well. Raj served us at dinner and was particularly kind and attentive, and really helped make our experience even more enjoyable. Overall, we had such a lovely experience and felt very well looked after throughout our stay. Would absolutely recommend and would happily stay again!"

"We had a lovely stay at this hotel. It is right on the water and you can see the waves crashing on the rocks. It is located close to many shops and restaurants. We had a delicious breakfast each day with a choice of Euro-American food and Sri Lankan food. We had a wonderful assistant in the person of Asuri. She was doing everything: front of house, breakfast, room service and more. The pool was lovely, despite the odd shark-dolphin sculptural oddity (a shower for children). The rooms were spacious. The beds were super comfortable. The A/C and wifi worked. The only small matters were the TV was not working (maybe weather related) and provision for tea in the room (remedied quickly). We would stay here again."

"We didn’t like our first room and the people at the front desk gave us a different room a few days later…which was so much better! The staff was great, the food was great, and we enjoyed staying there. The pool was small but we enjoyed using it to cool off in. The beach had a steep drop, so was hard if you didn’t know how to swim, but you can walk to the end of the beach and find a gently sloping area to swim in…"

"We had a wonderful, peaceful stay at Shore Beach Villa. It’s important to note that this is a private villa rather than a hotel, making it perfect for those looking for a self-catering experience. The views are incredible and it’s very close to Jungle Beach. The owner was exceptionally responsive and went above and beyond to make our stay special. The only minor downside is the spotty WiFi. To be fair, the owners have tried their best by installing two different providers, but the signal remains weak. Even mobile data is slow due to the distance from the antennas. If you're looking to disconnect and enjoy the scenery, this is the perfect spot!"
