Peaceful Countryside Gite with private pool near Aubeterre
10/10 Excellent
"We had such a wonderful stay here! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and immediately relaxed. Fran and Johnny were friendly hosts, and the welcome pack was a thoughtful extra. Communication was excellent throughout the trip. The gîte itself was beautiful and immaculately clean. The decor in each room was lovely, and it was well-equipped with everything you could need, making it a home away from home. The beds were also super comfy, which we loved. Location wise, it’s set in a quiet, rural area, but you are close to the local town with places to eat, and shops are about a 20-minute drive away. The pool was absolutely perfect and a great way to cool down in the heat! Between the peace and the pool, there was little need to do much else during our week here other than visit the local town and river beach. We fully recommend this gîte and really hope to return."
Characterful and Spacious 2 Bedroom Gite, Sleeps 4 with Dedicated Pool
10/10 Excellent
"Absolutely fantastic stay in this wonderful gite. Communication was brilliant all the way through right up to and including letting us know exactly when we could check in. Lovely uninterrupted views across the valley from the private pool and terrace. Plenty of sun and shade to be had in the massive garden. The house is very well equipped and the rooms are huge but very homely, we felt comfortable immediately in this place. Lesley and Pete are great; really friendly and not at all imposing. Location is fantastic, plenty to do in the surrounding area and amenities close at hand but it feels so peaceful and secluded at the property - the absolute best of both worlds. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone, it really does tick a lot of boxes."

"A great house for a large party. We spent most of the time outside - our group (including six children aged 3 to 10) really enjoyed the pool, games room, toy house. The gas barbecue was really helpful and there was loads of cutlery, crockery etc. We also appreciated the generous provision of loo rolls, soap, cleaning stuff, towels etc."
