The hotel is in the middle of remodelling, it felt like the room had not been finished, there was cement and dust all over the bathroom, the bathtub was clogged and would not drain at all. The floor was very dusty. Front desk dismissed our complaints. Absolutely not worth $260 per night.

The only partial nice thing was the beds were brand new. The hotel is in the middle renovations and it’s a mess on every floor. It’s like they working on parts of each floor versus just getting each floor complete and moving to the next. They only had 2 elevators operating for all 13 floors.

Room smelled of smoke, tv didn’t work, phone didn’t work, only one working elevator, the staff seemed to be bothered when you asked a question, room was dirty. I can go on…

There's currently construction happening and a train passes quite often so it's loud but i doubt there's really many quiet options out in NJ/NYC. It was pretty affordable and easy to get to the pier to head towards NYC. The staff were kind and helpful. I didn't personally eat the breakfast they served but i saw many people did. I suggest this place if you don't mind a little noise and need a place to stay.
