"The Block House exceeded expectations. The staff was so friendly, it felt like staying at a dear friend’s house, a really nice house, like the house from Parasite. Every morning, the staff prepared a beautiful western breakfast and every afternoon, tea and cake. On our last day, we had to leave early and the staff prepared our breakfast ‘to go’ and placed it in our fridge. "All around the Hotel was absolutely amazing. The view of the lake from the lobby is stunning as you enter the hotel. The staff here treat their guest like royalty and would like to thank them for giving top notch service all-round the hotel. My wife and I found our room very clean, comfortable and the in-room onsen very relaxing. The hotel also has an amazing common area waterworld pool section and private gender specific onsens which I highly recommend taking advantage of during your stay. The breakfast buffet food was delicious with an abundant of options to satisfy anyone's food craving needs. "
