"The staff (from front desk to cleaners) at Conrad was exceptional. The room looked a bit dated and the shower room could use some maintenance (ie replacing the silicone molding around the shower edges as it was starting to show mould stains) and the black out curtains needed to be replaced as it didn't black out the room. Other than those little issues, the room was big and clean. The cleaning staff were attentive and courteous whenever we saw them in the hallway. The location of the hotel was just off of Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street (20-50m) so very convenient. The metro station was also right around the corner so not far if you prefer to travel via the metro lines. No laundry facility at this location other than the usual drycleaning services offered as most hotels but this is very expensive. We ended up using Easy Life Laundry services as it was cheaper and quicker (usually a 24 hour turnover) to do our laundry and they provided picked up and delivery service from the hotel. The pool and gym facility was modern and big but one feedback is to provide a family room for families so that parents are not separated from young children. I was told my 5 year old son could not come with me to the female change room and that he would have to go through the male change room himself to get change and store his clothes, which was a no go for me. Luckily we already had our swim gear underneath our clothes so we were able to go straight to the pool and change there. "

"Overall, the hotel was a dissapointment since it didn’t correspond to the pictures taken. During our visit there was a ongoing worksite outside which means that there wasn’t a quiet moment for us in the room, day nor night. A big reason that we chose to stay at jinglai was because it says that there was a pool area, we thought that this would be great for our child but very dissapointed that there was none available since it was ”under maintenance”, doubtfull if there even was one in the building. Though the room was clean and fresh, things could have been worse. Restaurants close by for breakfast and late snacking, subway close by. Gym was small but great to have access so laundry. "

"This hotel is indeed exceptional. Highlights are the laundry room complete with detergent, buffet breakfast and the lobby bar. We were so comfortable here. We did have a hard time getting the wifi to work. Super convenient with access to metro around the corner."

"I really appreciated how every staff member and to name a few names that we can remember - Sabrina and every staff in the executive lounge, the new executive chef Matt, and his team of waiting staff and chefs, conceige staff Mark and his team. We had a rocky trip because my husband became unwell in the trip but their caring and personable attitude with the willingness to go the extra mile has eased the pain to some extent. "This hotel has the greatest location, which is just few steps from metro station & also within walking distance from the Jinan temple. There are lots of good restaurant choices around the area, from local food and as well as high end restaurants. With its convenient location, it made my trip much easier and enjoyful. I highly recommend it."

"Stayed 8 nights. Hotel room is showing its age, but is clean, spacious and comfortable. Housekeeping staff very friendly and attentive. Self serve laundry is a bonus. Coffee at the lobby is surprisingly good. Love the location near River for my morning walks. Excellent value for money. "
