The River Cottage - Idyllic river side cottage

River Cottage is a luxuriously appointed property just 20 metres from the banks of the Wingecarribee River. The cottage offers a modern, comfortable, country escape. Fall asleep to the sound of the river, read a long awaited book on the porch overlooking the river. Sit around the fire pit regaling the day's adventures with friends. Or snuggle up on the leather lounge in front of the fire place inside.

The cottage boasts 2 beautiful bedrooms each with full river views. Each room has a queen bed and a single. Open the louvre windows to bring the sound of the river in. Or the cool breeze at night. Relax in the open plan living area, prepare your meals in the stylishly appointed kitchen. Enjoy a coffee from the fully automated coffee machine.

Cozy cottage in paradise

This place is amazing. Exactly as advertised and then some. Super easy to access, beautiful house with enough room for everyone, a perfect river running out the front with penty of little beaches to explore and relax on. A little slice of reasonably proced heaven

I expected good things, but the place was beyond that!

This place exceeded expectations, even the drive in (we had kangaroos hop alongside the car). The place was very clean, warm and welcoming! It was in a secluded location so you felt like you were in your own little world in the middle of the bush. Will definitely be back!

Bonding with nature

The property was amazing! Making contact with property manager was very easy and they responded quickly. Everything was just like as it was listed. Kids really loved it. No TV was a bonus because it got the kids to be out of the house. They were outside running around bonding with nature when possible. Definitely a place our family would like to come back. This is a beautiful, well appointed and comfortable property in a very special location. To hear the river running the whole time as well as waking up to the stunning views really made for a very special weekend away.

Perfect in every way.

We loved our 3 night stay at the River Cottage. Perfect in every way-comfortable,quiet and well equipped. Coffee machine was fantastic! Saw lots of animals on our walks incl. deer,kangaroos, a fox and wild pigs. Perfect for families or couples as a relaxing country getaway.

Idyllic - a very accurate description of this River Cottage!

Meandering down through the valley to uncover an idyllic setting of the cottage by the river - what a delight! This was the most relaxing and comfortable experience and ticked all the boxes... the sound of water gushing through the valley, roaring open wood fires both inside and out, beautifully decorated and comfortable furnishings with a fully equipped kitchen.
