Affordable good accommodation. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and wellness centers. They serve meals and also have a vending machine if you need snacks. I didn't like the old aircon in the room, infact it could not switch on.

Nice enough, but basic

Rivonia is nice enough, but basic. The room was small, the towels were thin, the bed was OK. There is no elevator. They had water for refilling water bottles. Breakfast was basic as well (for an added cost). They did have a kettle in the room for coffee or tea. Prior to our arrival, we emailed with questions which were given quick, helpful responses.

Reception great on arrival. Stay good. Aircon just bit in need of help. Noisy neighbours slamming doors in early morning hours. Booked online, so was refused an invoice on departure. I have to obtain invoice by contacting Xpedia, this very inconvenient and a waste of office hours. I paid, I should be sent an invoice.

The terrible experience and a terrible place. Some kid set off the alarm day one and the entire staff didn’t know how to switch it off for 48 hours. Next morning One of the receptionist stole my Bluetooth AirPod at breakfast and deny it. Obviously the breakfast was horrible. Booked for 4 nights but cleaning lady woke me up Saturday and Sunday at 8am to question why am I sleeping and not checking out cause her book says I should be out there? And even when she was corrected the second day no apology or whatsoever from anyone. The vibe was, the hotel is not a place you come to rest but only for immoral behaviour and criminals

The staff are welcoming and very friendly and will go out of their way to ensure that guests needs are met and well attended to. The toilet is a major disappointment its too small. I had placed an order with delivery extreme and it was a horrible experience had to wait for 2 hours only to be told that my order was too difficult when i had selected from their standardized menu. If i dint have a friend come over and take me to dinner i can only imagine what would have happened
