Look, it was an incredible experience staying at Sunrock. Everything worked perfectly well from the very beginning. The check-in was smooth, even though we arrived at night, and the staff was extremely attentive at all times. When we arrived, dinner service had already ended, but with great kindness, they prepared sandwiches for us, which made all the difference after the trip. The breakfast was excellent, and the dinner the next day was simply delicious. It was truly a very rewarding experience to be in this place… welcoming, well-organized, and with genuine care for the guests. Without a doubt, the next time I’m in Johannesburg, I will stay here again.

Ideal location near to the airport. Its like a little oasis, in which to relax and chill, either before or mid journey as a stop over. Friendly helpful staff. Clean comfortable rooms and facilities sucn as the bar, dinning area and spa. Tranfer service is a godsend and efficient with good communication. If we are near johannesburg again (likely) and need a stop over, will definatly re book.

Breakfast and dinner buffet was excellent. No option for lunch but can Uber Eats but literally full from breakfast and dinner buffet at 7. No AC but not needed. Grounds are beautiful. Staff constantly tending to grounds, flowers trees etc. Some items in room needed repair. Loose shelves and tv not working. This place is amazing. You’d never know you were so close to the airport. Literally an oasis. Shuttle was excellent. 7 mins from airport. Do yourself a favour and stay here. If we’re ever back would definitely stay again.
