"The hotel is in a great location, walkable to all the main sights we were hoping to see. The staff were so friendly and happy to answer questions and provide some recommendations of what to see and where to eat."
"This property was amazing! We had a very nice room and the location by the castle was perfect! The hotel is next to the castle walls and about three or four blocks from the castle entrance. For breakfast they served bacon, sausage, eggs, yogurt, fruit, sweet pastries, etc. We were very satisfied. The historic restaurant about one block away served excellent traditional German food. We really enjoyed our stay!"

"Love everything about the Melter, particularly the benefit of having a laundry room in the building! Thank you!
We would appreciate TV programing in English or Spanish. We were watching TV on rainy days and couldn't understand a word :("
"We loved our couple of nights here. So conveniently situated for the main train station. It took us under 10 minutes to walk from the train with our cases. It's a flat walk too.
The hotel seemed really new. The rooms were excellent. We took breakfast which was just like the ones at prem inns in UK. The room had a good fridge and coffee making facility.
One can walk easily into the old town and the walk is very pleasant. My daughter went for a lovely run along the river, in the morning. There are lots of options for food within a few minutes. We will stay here again in future.
Excellent public transport is offered as it's so close to the main station. And the tour of the nuclear bunker under the main station is an interesting experience that I'd recommend!
The only criticism I'd make is that the staff weren't exactly friendly. They were typically businesslike and abrupt. But, having visited Germany very many times, sadly, I've become used to this.
