"Complimentary breakfast great. Staff cordial and helpful totally. Spa services and nearby health club access was superb. The condition of the property at least the actual garden room where I stayed could use some updating. There was a bit of an stagnant smell and the walls could use some spackling or something. The toilet seat should just be replaced as it was pretty badly scratched up possibly from harsh cleaning stuff. I always bring my own sanitizing wipes and it was way cleaner to say the least when I wiped it down. I was least impressed with the cleanliness as there was hair on the floor and some towels. I would still come back for the spa and location. Would try a different room though. "

"This place is in a good location. Walk to everything. It was VERY Clean. Parking garage parking was very clean. Coffee in lobby 24/7. Mini toiletries provided (Shampoo, conditioner, shower cap, body lotion, makeup wipes. Mini frig & microwave in rooms. Mini coffee maker as well but just go to the lobby to get the coffee, its better. I would DEF stay here again."

"Ideal location for a quick beach getaway, obviously not all of the amenities are available off-season, however, considering the hotel was not fully booked in a parking lot was basically empty, charging $15 to park overnight for a one night stay seemed unnecessary."

"This place is a gem. We have been here in the past and will keep coming back! The reason I removed a star is because I got some type of food poisoning - the only thing it could have been was from the wine and cheese hour. The cheese was left out and I’m assuming the many hands reaching for the cheese is not the most sanitary solution. "

"Good weekend stay in mid-March. Our room was close to the garage entrance and the Rudder (restaurant/ bar next door.) We could hear people coming and going and while it was fine in the off-season, I would expect it could be loud in the summer (unless you are out having a good time with all the other summer people). It was thoughtful that earplugs were supplied - first time I've seen that!"

"It's off season, the staff was friendly and accommodating. No issue with parking because I do not think there were too many guests (mid-week, off season). The room was very comfortable, and clean. We stay here often. Very close to "downtown", and two blocks off boardwalk/beach. "

"We had such a wonderful stay at the Atlantic Ocean Side Hotel in Dewey Beach for opening weekend! From the moment we arrived, everything felt easy, welcoming, and relaxing. The location is absolutely perfect—just steps from the beach and all Dewey has to offer! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a stress-free getaway. The staff was so very friendly and accommodating, always ready with a smile and very helpful. We love how laid-back the atmosphere is and being in the heart of Dewey with all the fun things to do. Anytime we come to Dewey we always stay here and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a simple, enjoyable, and perfectly located beach escape!"
